Did you really copy the image out from your N900 to your PC? Or you're editing the file which is still in your N900?

I don't have any problems? Maybe you can try other picture editing software like MS Paint, make an extra copy of the picture, open the picture in MS Paint and simply modify it and try to save?
The N97 Mini ori price is about 2.4K anyway. It's either they plan to price it cheaper or more expensive...

How sure are you that your phone didn't automatically connect to 3G?

Go To Settings --> Internet Connections
Make sure the settings does not connect automatically for 3G Internet.

If there is automatic connection, you might not know when your phone updates automatically using 3G Internet.

If you install any widgets that have auto-update (default settings) and you didn't disable it, it will use the default connection. Even your email and so on does the same. Same goes for Nokia Maps.

Lastly, to check if your phone has used any Data Packets, go to:
Settings --> Phone --> Scroll Down to the end and choose "Data counter"
This will show you the total MB send and received.
Alternatively, you can also install the "Dataplan Monitor" widget.

Good Luck~
Sorry bro, didn't notice which message? Is it same as current you're asking?

If yes, bro kiawin has mentioned about the app "Petrovich" which allows you to send files via Bluetooth, Email, Service.

Yo Bro, mind to share where you get that "pouch" and roughly how much?

From the picture, seems it's a nice fit.

not yet ready for N900. Currently, the latest ovi map only available for seleted devices. maybe wait for next update. there're many things not complete yet for this phone, guess they released too early, even pc suite is not fully compatible yet till today and ovi suite totally not supported. hopefully they fixed it before officially launch in malaysia else its like calling for more trouble..

btw, anybody use the nokia map knows how to save the location? i can't find way to save my location?

have been using this phone for 4 days now, n so far i really like it, new users who are expecting this phone to be a full functional phone like working video call, mms, ussd all this small thing we take for granted on way cheaper phones just need to be patient wit it, they are all 3rd party app for all of this some where out there, and i'm sure they will be firmware update to complete all this small stuff.

so far battery life is acceptable been heavily downloading and installing apps, multi web surfing, moderate texting, and youtubing via wifi (by the way i did all these things all in one time brows.gif truly multi tasking) from 8am-1pm, that took off half the battery. after that went out, lower down lcd brightness to 2 bars, still moderate texting, light calling, abit of FM transmitting while driving, all this was going on till around 12am by that time the phone gave me the 1st "low battery" warning. got home half n hour after that, so i decide to killed it off wit youtube. was running a 5min video, when it reached 3min the 2nd low batt warning came up, by the 5th min 3rd warning cam up then, then a few seconds after that it shuts down. tongue.gif

over all, love this phone to death!

nice review. this is really an incredible and one of a kind phone, and the desktop stand out above the rest, even better than our home pc desktop. it just depends on the use, what they really want and to understand this phone well. the browser is amazing, it can totally replace ur laptop/netbook. wait till it fully support flash 10...

btw, try not to let your battery die off. it's not good for li-ion or li-poly battery.

using maxis. 3g usage consume a lot of battery. some owners suggest swithing to 2g from the settings if you don't require to use 3g speed. basically 2g is more than enough for im.

btw, nice blog for the blackberry. how do you find it with thhe N900? mixed feelings? hehe
oh yes, for the bb im, actually you can find somthing similar from pidgin im which is avable for maemo as well as few other mobile os.

I guess there's some activities going on background (I'm using nokia messaging) when you switch on Digi Internet. Hence, battery life of course will be reduced. Normal working days, my phone able to last the entire working hours with constant emails coming in and some calls.

My problem faced is that I usually fully charged my phone the night before, and hence it does drain my phone a bit when I was sleeping. So what I do usually is to switch it to GSM (2G) before I sleep.

Secondly, for nomal usage, GSM does use lesser battery than 3G. In addition, I guess viewing email and upload one or two photo using 2.5G (EDGE) is ok lah smile.gif
