is it hard to find GP batteries at your place?

why not try other brands... like MAHA. not that expensive and comes with battery case.

MAHA Imedion cost less than RM50 for a pack of 4AAs, with battery case. Same concept with Sanyo Eneloop, but proven to be better performer (more shots per charge and better recycle rate).

I have been using the same 2 sets (of 4x AA) maha imedion since last year, and believe me the performance is still the same. Sometimes I just charge and store them for weeks, yet the battery capacity is still around full charge. Number of shots per charge also around the same.

No comment about the normal powerex 2700mah, never use them.
