to all Razer seniors :

I got a Razer Krait and now thinking to get a Goliathus gaming surface. Previously using the mouse on wooden table . I like high sensitivity but not too high( move faster and small movement ) in playing fps game like CS and L4D. I like to aim ( using sniper biggrin.gif ) rather than shooting blindly XD , but my wooden table is quite smooth thus my mouse hard to grab on it , resulting poor precise shot.Because of that , I need to move the mouse slowly == to get precise shot.

So I need a mouse grab gaming surface with control . Even with high sensitivity ( 1600dpi is high enough for me ), the mouse pad must provide good fiction for control . Mostly playing FPS game .. So , Goliathus, speed or control ???

I google manys . some said speed is FPS some said control == , so really need some real opinions here ,,, thank notworthy.gif

I see... but why some ppl said these rclxub.gif

QUOTE
bro, control is 4 low sensitivity user wor ..speed mat more suitable if u r high sensitivity user.. hmm.gif
but anyway, razer products' COOL!!!

1600DPI consider high sensitivity or low blink.gif ?

QUOTE
bro, off from ur Q (on shaking)..if u play mostly FPS how come u get a Control Mat? actually d Speed Mat would b more suitable 4 u as its meant for FPS games (d mat surface is smoother) compared to Control Mat (lil rougher surface-meant for mostly strategy games)...

QUOTE
The Speed Edition, which is nice and smooth, has a very fine-textured weave that is always in contact with a large area of your mouse feet, thus The Speed Edition results in more friction on your mouse, and contrary to its name, slower mouse movement. The Control Edition, which is pitted, naturally doesn’t touch as much of your mouse feet, that mean touches your mouse less, and so your mouse moves faster.

The Goliathus naming convention can still be rationalized in a roundabout way by saying that if you use a high mouse sensitivity, the Speed Edition is right for you, and vice versa for the Control Edition. This doesn’t change the fact that the product names are misleading, at best.

this one made me confused the most.

its depends on the user bro.
If your hand glide fast, control also can become speed lah.
the different between the control and speed is the surface.
I don't find a problem when in control type.
Both are great, if you live in kl u go lyp test drive tongue.gif
*
lowyat which floor rclxms.gif ? can touch the surface only... or can test with mouse brows.gif ?

QUOTE
Speed = smooth
control = rough
So, are u a high sensitivity player or low? Low sens player will choose control edition while high sens player will choose speed edition.
If u want medium feeling, qck is good too.

that's mean low sen already slow , but + control mats = more slow rclxub.gif ?? for sniper player using this option slow sens + control map , probably you can aim head precisely , but cant change target quickly is it ?

high speed like 3200DPI will choose speed mat ? that means it is has more speed = speed of flash rclxub.gif ? this one just spray blindly @@ ?

hey , about some question about the Deathadder ,

1) is the 3G infrared helps a lot ? it claim that it is much more precise than ordinary lazer/infrared ?

2) can I customize the DPI on the fly ? using the programmable buttons. need high DPI to run/switch target , slow DPI for aiming(sniper).

lolz ! I haven seen many copperhead problem in youtube after they have bought it for few months... such as

1) it is not responsive to surface
2) it automatically turn off itself.. when you turn it back on by pressing the bottom button , the pc doesnt recognize the CH
3) the cord itself has problems also...
4) double click problem , not sure what problem it is , but written on youtube comments. They didnt describe it

does anyone of CH users or anyone heard this before ?? Seem like DA is more popular than CH in foreign country

you mean sphex very smooth ? like Goliathus speed ? ...

1) Someone try to compare sphex and goliathus speed ? biggrin.gif

2) how rough is the control vs speed ( Goliathus ) ... let say speed roughness is 0% ... easy to wash ?? very important , I like my stuff clean nod.gif

oh ... that is too fast for me already ...

1)Goliathus control easy wash off ? I heard it is hard to wash off .... o

2)only can touch them but cant test them with mouse , so I need to ask this ...Goliathus control roughness vs speed roughness ... set speed roughness = 0% , so speed rougher than speed how many % ??

= = ? tv and aircon not using infra red meh ? wireless and wifi ,is inter-changeable terms for the same thing . "Wireless" technology is any form of communications which uses air waves for transmission. Infra-red, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, Radio, Cellular phone, and even broadcast televisions fall under the "Wireless" definition.

BTW , anyone visit Razer store in KL convention PiKom pc fair ? Do they open mousepad and mouse for testing ? I want to test deathadder v2 on Goliathus speed/control ..... it is best if there is a CS/Left4Dead game for me to test thumbup.gif
