I am using a gaming motherboard
Most motherboard build in sound card is 7.1
They support your headphones and gives it the gaming power if your motherboard is meant for gaming
No point getting a new sound card which performs the same

I owned the barracuda and I was having hell
Wear 1 -2 hours then my head hurts
Traded my barracuda for a siberia and my longest record for siberia was 10 hours
Never take off from my head. Movies and Music the Siberia pawns hands down!
I seriously never expect the sound for music to be better with all those 5.1 cables included in the barracuda
But when it comes to gaming, the barracuda pawns siberia with no hands used
You can hear enemy footsteps on both headphones, but the barracuda is much more crispy
Portability? Siberia wins because barracuda you need the USB to make it work and I go for LAN party often
Both are great headphones to own but I chose the siberia in the end because I'm a movie and music Fanatic
Gaming? I only play cod4 and the rest are like HON,Burnout,fifa which doesn't really need gaming headphones
conclusion is: If you are into serious gaming and would stick to your desktop the whole time
Go for the barracuda as that would be my pick. But if you want portability and awesome sound for music and movies, siberia is the way to go. Depends on the user actually on what you like. But the price tag is a little different
The Base for siberia feels a little better compared to the barracuda. Cushion cup on the barracuda is a little softer than the siberia and some might ask, the barracuda is build like a tank!
Barracuda is going for 450 and siberia is 270
