anyone seen the fragged edition goliathus speed here? how is it? i mean is it totally same as the original speed goliathus, with extra razer logo on it? or is the color of the pad different? cause i see in pictures online it seems more grey than black, where as the original speed goliathus is much blacker(and nicer xP)

speed type have a very smooth surface so your mouse can move freely without heavy resistance, control type have rougher surface so your movement of mouse across the pad would feel harder and (some say more control).

where is PAX? i wonder how you guys get so many of these special Razer stuff pics? razer cult? that ear phone looks dam awesome

why so excited with the infrared? even the cheapest Krait and last time Diamondback also use infrared. quite common among razer mice.

erm sounds reasonable haha if same appearance, higher DPI without different looks like kinda not enough xP

hmm agree with you both. 2000dpi is more than enough for me. with 19" monitor. i play warcraft 3 competitively and also alot of FPS. dont think FPS needs such high dpi as well. i think its more of marketing hype. just my 2 cents

i saw kabuto been sold here in one of the shop in Klang.
the packaging makes me feel very not-razer-like. just a thin paper holding kabuto inside and thats it. very thin packaging, no box etc.

anyone bought razer goliathus fragged edition? would like to see some real pics of it instead of the promotional pic found everywhere in google before deciding buy or not xP

haha you guys should have waited a while longer.. a shop nearby my house is selling both alpha and standard size now. guess other places should carry stocks now.

btw the fragged edition seems nice, more chances of buying it xD

fingertip and claw are brothers. CH suitable for fingertip too DA definitely not for fingertip/claw. the butt is too big and high to not to touch your palm.

erm maybe you still can find some old stocks in some shops in lowyat. have to search one by one for it. last time i searched almost all the shops in lowyat whole afternoon, manage to find few shops selling.

hmm i dont own a lachesis but i have a DA. im not sure whether is it good or how, but DA beats lachesis in my stance, where im a rightie, and i'm a full palm grip person. lachesis is totally out of the league if i wan full palm. thats why for my choice DA over lachesis. just my 2 cents dpi isnt as important to me cause i dont have very big monitor, plus DA programmable buttons also.

dont have a CH so i duno the problems >< according to http://cult.razerzone.com/, check the voting box on mid left side, DA is definitely the most popular razer mice, largely due to its shape that almost imitate the legendary IME 3.0, very comfort for right handed palm grip persons. im not sure whether fingertip/claw can use DA.

DB 3G using same sensor as DA (correct me if im wrong), just the shape is ambidextrous, and not so comfort if you wan palm grip it, more of fingertip/claw with semi palm i think. both the same of original DB and DB 3G is the same. only lighting and design different.

to me i choose mouse first: comfortness when holding, know your holding style and you can find the mouse easily. or try hold the mouse say, at Sri computer in lowyat(duno they still show sample to hold ma).

oh if that is the case then you really should try out DA. before i used DA i was a fingertip too, until i hold DA and then omg haha feels strange if im to hold smaller mouse xD

erm both would be the same technically, sensor same etc. only difference would be: the shape, one is right handed palm grip mouse, another ambidextrous smaller, more for fingertip/claw.

perform best? most cloth pad will do goliathus, everglide titan, SS qck series, qpad, etc etc.
never try on hard pad i duno how is the performance on hard pad.

haha definitely. razer is good at marketing and providing tempting products. 2.3mm thickness. i might want to sell my white destructor, very rarely used
