Hi, i just got my E71 two days ago and i had the breathing light problem at the top. I fixed it by locking it and sliding it upwards. However, the light leaks onto my calendar, home button, q and 2,3, and * buttons as well. Is there a way to fix this myself? Or can Nokia fix it without taking it apart. Thanks.

wat set r u ? ori or ap? if wat say is same as the video u show me.. i cant help there.. it seem to be keypad problem as the rubber inside maybe out of plc thus causing the light to leak a bigger portion.. mine jus till the calendar button nia..

Im from Australia so i'm with 3 network. But video i show you isn't normal is it? I'm thinking that my keypad is faulty too. My Dpad makes a slight creaking sound when i use it. 3 has a 14 day replacement offer for faulty phones im going to take it back today.

^ Oh ok... but what types of problems occur when this happens? How easily can this happen? I've left my previous phones in the bathroom while showering by accident a few times before but after hearing about this phones sensitivity im too scared to even use it with sweaty hands. =/

Try avoid putting the phone in the bathroom because accidents does happen. Like mine my Nokia 6600 while i was showering a call came in. Vibrate vibrate and it was shock the phone drop from one corner flew to the other corner and drop into a basin fill with water for 5 sec.  I took it out immediately remove the battery. When u shake the phone u see water flying out. Imagine how scare i was.

After 2weeks of leaving it try. It works again but there was some minor malfunction like earpiece too soft, vibrate not strong.
For your scenario if u put your phone in the bathroom without hot vapor it wont be a problem.

Oh ok thanks guys. That must have been extremely lucky. I just don't want to void my warranty. My dot is still white so i hope its still good. I accidently left it in there with hot vapour but i had a fan running as well... it was also a bit more than a metre away from the shower so i hope that all is good/ smile.gif

I find battery life on this phone to be fairly good.
Sometimes i hardly use mine (few txt, short calls per day) to last 7 days.

Btw when you go into camera do you guys hear a small click? Like inside the phone. I didn't pay attention to this before my firmware update so i don't know.

sounds like its time to service. Because E71 doesnt have any moving lens why have sound suspicious

got laa. like, when we open the barcode reader, then simply exit the application without off the focus mode, then when we opens the camera, the camera will focus to normal mode. this is what I experienced before.

So what's wrong? there is a problem or a setting i have on the phone. phone is only 22 days old or so.
