a curious no0b question...to remove the memory card, do we need to press the power button and choose remove mem. card options first before removing the microsd itself? if remove directly, the mem. card will go rosak aa?

hi everyone,
need some suggestions whether should I use silicon case or crystal case for my e71....well, can it do any harm to my housing? because last time when i use crystal case for my previous nokia 6233, the case kinda leaves effects & scratches all over the shiny part (including the screen). since that, i havent use any crystal case...dun want to damage my precious housing... just bought a silicon case for my e71 anyway... |

me too, also thought want to change my E71 housing....wanna try white steel...but quite confused with the quality of housing sold here in Malaysia..
well, also thinking about getting original housing (OEM ones) from oversea, but too expensive...haha. but as mentioned before, pay more, then you can get better quality.. btw, is it true that E71 doesn't support yahoo mail? ive tried to configure my email settings as similar as the settings on Nokia 5800 (POP, smtp, ssl etc.), but its still doesn't work...or should i get email apps? (except for Nokia Messaging which is trial) |

QUOTE(ViRaViRa @ Dec 24 2009, 11:25 AM) To use POP3 & IMAP for Yahoo! Mail, you need to be a premium user, which means you must pay for their premium email service. Yeah....it works with Yahoo! Mail Plus account only..too bad...Nokia Messaging is only trial... Nokia Messaging works very well with Yahoo! Mail. Not to worry about the trial now. Only once they make it a paid one, you can then look for alternative. At the moment, I couldn't find for any FREE alternative for nokia which works at least as equal to Nokia Messaging. QUOTE(jted_84 @ Dec 24 2009, 05:11 PM) i have got a question to ask.. ppl using messenger thru E71.. now using same application? or Fring better?? gurus.. please help, and show me the place to install the application~ help much apppreciated~ It depends....some people are using fring, some using nimbuzz, slick, etc....for fring, you just need to go to their website (through your phone or pc), select e71 as your model and download the application itself...however, you need to register first before you can log in and subscribe to the available services (ym, skype, etc.).This post has been edited by LegendKiller86: Dec 24 2009, 06:20 PM |

Guys, I found that on the Nokia Malaysia website, there's an option for Red Steel E71, does it mean that Malaysia now got Original Red E71?
By the way, just experienced some hands-on a little bit with a red steel E71 at a shop yesterday. Very nice color. Hehe |
