y so marfan? my nokia pc suite 7.1.30.9 work jus fine then i jus use nokia later software updater.. update take bout 25 minute to complete..
my advice to get a smooth connection , use streamyx , update during weekdays, afternoon if able.. lol.. weekend connection is freakish..

YA I HAVE PROBLEM RESTORING MY PHONE AS WELL... it like make my phone hang after restore .. blank front screen.. but when press menu.. the icon is there..press back..all blank again..

Mind I ask how you guys surf the internet using the phone... Izit using wlan or anything else...

Nimbuzz new version is out. It now supports popup notifications!!      So you leave it in the background, it'll popup any chat message to your main screen if there is any. cool!

ok i just realised e71 has 1 limitation with WIFI!
assuming u are using corporate wifi and there is a need to put a proxy in to surf net, there is one limitation.

If your company is using BlueCoat Proxy's which rely heavily on Active Directory, u will need to key in a domain account name and password. However e71 does not allow you to key in the domain acc and password as there is no settings for that in even in advance config..

Yes it should be prompt by web browser. however if its not prompted, it can be added into the proxy profile.
My opera mobile shows the popup but nimbuzz does not. I guess its more towards application problem more than the phone. But i believe the phone should also have this function of adding the username/password by default as an option to use in a corporate network. This is afterall a business phone so im curious how Nokia did not see this coming.

Feel bad for you. Maybe from now on , only get original stuff especially original warranty ones. 

I know everyone is talking about the new firmware , but I'm just too lazy to reinstall all the software.    Please let me lie to myself that the new firmware doesnt do any huge changes. 

u need to let the battery fully discharge - fon must be fully out before recharge. its full charge/DISCHARGE cycle..

mine is 'optimal' now..

So u know what is the requirement to have corporate plan? as i know my company atleast have 100-200 company line withhin maxis, digi and celcom as well.

My company HR admin staff wont check all this 1. They just know my allowance is rm150 then just ask maxis for 150 plan only.
but maxis should advise them since the line is registered under company name.
As u can see the business plan is more benefit than value plus, and both still pay rm150 as well.

Wow..unlimited data plan some more. 
but atleast still have free 500MB now.

I am having problem since today morning where I am not receiving e-mails. It is not syncing to the server.

Is Nokia Email Push server down or my trial is expired?

Bro.. When a phone cost more than a thousand... There is a need to go for ori.. Bcos if anything happen u can go to any nokia service centre.. But in ap.. U r only able to deal with the shop which sold u d phone.. Dont even mention to me small ap or big ap.. All ap r d same.. They chgs urs things in ur set such as battery, cable, earphone,memory card..etc.. Wat u get is wat u pay for if not wat d ap seller untung.. They sell d ori part separately so they can untung on a later day..
On the question to upgrade from e71 to e72 is down to u.. Do u c the point of paying extra for 5mp camera, fp2, faster processor and bigger ram.. Well to some they r willing to pay for it as they c it as an extra.. But if u find wat the current e71 hav to offer is sufficient then i dont c the point of selling ur e71 for rm800 then paying another rm500 for something which i dube as almost the same.. Firmware  or software compatibility wise e71 still win.. hardware wise e72 triumph by a bit margin..

It's really a hard choice to make right now lol, seeing E72 just makes me want a piece of them.

Btw i'm curious about this, what if i'm buying Zitron/avaxx set from normal phone shops like Atlantis from SS2 PJ, will they swap the original stuffs with cheaper AP accessories? Because normally when we're buying phones from normal shops the sets have  been opened before and it's not sealed right? To be safe should I buy it from nokia center if i'm about to get E72?
