ah damn!!! i phone is giving me a lot of problem after the firmware update!!!
it shutdown automatically when i received or make a call!!! jus like tis: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discus...thread.id=29952 . will try to hard reset it tonite.. the 3 button reset is press call button + 3 + * then press red power button is it?

after 1 hour of try to hard reset my phone using the three button.. at last successful.. was having problem getting pass the choose region part where by i have to select malaysia.. once press it shutdown again.. any button i press it shut down.. so try and try.. until i figure out why not try pressing the volume button.. and there is no problem when i press volume button.. so this time i shutdown the phone again.. and press 3+*+green call button and power button until the hand shake gone .. then select region part, i choose to press the volume button 1st ..while pressing it i press scroll down.. eureka!!! it didnt shutdown.. i never release the volume button.. select malaysia, set the time and date.. voila.. it is formatted.... for the pass 1 hour been having butterfly in my tummy sweating and worried bout my phone going dead.. but anyway it back !!! thx god..

Well i think mine is not cos my firmware gua.. since it been reported b4 in nokia discussion.. So it is a known issue .. Happen randomly 1 gua.. Well i happy with d phone now.. jus now when it almost brick.. I was googling for how to downgrade firmware but dont seem to found any which is confirm worked.. Well to those who manage to downgrade the firmware i really salute them..lol

Bro ..wat charger u used? Ac-5x should only take 1 hour top.. R u usin ur phone as modem while chargin? If so memang after 24 hour also still not full.. If u other charger than the original.. Expect the charge performance to decrease la..

no it is installed in ur card b4 tis right? u didnt back up b4 u update ah?.. but anyway.. it is always best to start from fresh.. mean nothing installed at all.. and the card is best formated as well..

sure lor.. the registry is still in the card ma.. if u take out the card the installed files also all gone de la.. multimedia stuff like wat? picture and song? for sure it is still there as they r not software..

well as u said..so now u r in m'sia or australia? wat is the voltage on ac-5a? 220v or 240v?

Charger.. If ur battery is faulty.. It will be fully charge in no time but empty up in no time as well.. If u r havin a hard time makin it charged up meaning it is ur charger problem..do Correct me if i m wrong

So? how soft u want it to be.. I find our E71 is one d nicest keypad after motorola q9h

newest firmware is at 400.21.013 .. if ur r satisfied with ur current firmware.. then there is no need to update.. usage or garmin.. wat u mean cant use? hav u installed a map? basically most of the guide is at the front page.. pls use it..

version 1 run jus fine.. wat is the problem faced??

get ur self a cert signer... solve all ur problem without hacking..

Added on December 21, 2009, 11:48 ampls check whether u r on gsm , dual or utms mode.. and r u using ori e71 or ap set.. pls check whether u r using e71-1, 2 or 3.. sometimes it play a part..

1st thing 1st.. wat window r u using? window xp, vista or Se7en ?
once u established a connection using pc suite ur computer should hav already created a dial up connection.. hence the nex time u wanna connect jus go to the dial up and connect.. dont need to on pc suite.. sav u the hassle..

ask red queen wat package he is using.. as i known he is using maxis to online as well

go for unlimited is best.. 500mb is easily hit if u surf on computer..

u hav money to invest in e71.. mean u hav d money to invest in its accessories.. use ur E series will care .. tis is a business phone not an outdoor phone.. but the durability test of phone can be said as among the best.. anyway as the saying goes there is good thing dont come cheap.. cheap thing dont always last..

Urs is a 2nd hand 1 right? .. I cant help but laugh if my technician say tat.. It is his fault somemore say due chg to many times.. e71 is a delicate phone when its stainless stell amour is taken off.. So i think d the technician tersentuh other part nearby the speaker there which cause it to came loose.. u fix at normal phone shop right?.. Well lesson learn with a cost..
