Haiya bro.. Now everythin goes mobile ma.. If u hav an unlimited data plan like me and red queen u will do it also de.. It like the power is in ur hand.. Everythin also can do..
Font to small.. If u can view sms on d phone y not browsin on d phone?
Switch to mobile view .. Although by doing so.. Some site which does not support mobile view tend to go distorted but fine by me as most of my site is mobile friendly..  but at d end of the day when given a choice who dont prefer surfin on a bigger screen right? My 2 cent
*
hehhe yewps, i don't completely use the E71 to replace my laptop. but with unlimited data plan, it's definitely a bonus and a good phone for me to surf the net when i'm on the go. especially places where i don't have access to laptop/desktop.

i actually use my phone to surf some sites/forums while i'm at work even because my company blocks them. hehehhehe. i'm fine with mobile view and pretty much used to it already. and i must say i really really like opera mini 5 because of the tab browsing. good job Opera!!

haha..good answer. now i get it.
means that u use all boring waiting time to surf. some use the time to play games..like me. haha
I just download opera 4.2 not long..will try V5 after it become official Version as i seldom surf for the moment. mostly play games or listen music to slot my boring time icon_idea.gif
*
yes, you got it right. nothing beats surfing the net with a full fledge browser with keyboard and mouse smile.gif so using the E71 to surf is like a bonus. and opera mini 5 actually improves the browsing experience for the E71.

hi guys,,

for the opera mini beta 5, I see that there are 9 speed dial there. I want to edit my first speed dial which is "opera.com" to something else. I dont know how to edit them.

also I notice that, once I set the speed dial, I cant edit them...

any way to fix this?
*
i learn this from xavi.

press the R button on which ever speed dial you want, and it'll pop-up an edit box.

any of you know if E71 has the non-oily screen protector sticker? i saw my friend using it on his IPhone. the screen protector doesn't look like those normal ones. it looks abit matte. but really no finger prints or oil.

Does any of you here connects to 3G data all day long (microsoft exchange)? how does your battery life fare? My E71 gets really hot, and battery drains very fast!

sad.gif
*
yewps, the phone gets really really hot. and battery can last from morning - night. what to do, our countries 3G infra is like rubbish, very unstable thats why drain alot of battery.

Added on December 3, 2009, 10:38 amanyone here using Nokia Email? as of late, don't know why i don't get any @ sign on the top right corner of my phone when i get new emails on my hotmail which is the primary mailbox. but if i got new mails in my secondary mailbox (Gmail and Ovimail) the @ sign appears.

Added on December 3, 2009, 11:57 amanyone using Opera Mini Beta? go grab the Opera Mini Beta 2!!! it's freaking awesome. fixed alot of bugs, and it's faster and smoother now.

i found out tat my phone heat up less now.. Bear in mind i m usin it as modem for 3 hour straight.. And it is still Room temp.. And my battery jus fell 2 bar.. Wow.. I beginning to like it.. Lol.. Gonna update more soon.. Trying out d opera mini 5 and mobile beta 2 now.. At last they fixed d image quality.. Lol.. Havent check mobile version yet.. I didnt expect them to come out with an update so soon.. Great job to the opera team..
*
Ur saying that with the new firmware, even on 3g for 3 hours only drop 2 bar and less heat?

And yea, they fix the inline editing bug. Last time in beta 1, if I tturn it on, I can't type. Now they make editing at native editor, but still can copy text. I'm loving this opera mini beta 2. Can't wait for official release. I think this browser beats the shit out of nokia browser.

Kota Damansara has 3G coverage now. so for toady whole day i'm gonna be using UMTS mode only. and i'll see if it can last AT LEAST one full day.

then will try Dual mode. coz i somehow think that Dual mode seems to drain mroe battery because it tends to drop back to EDGE at times even though there's 3G coverage. whereas when i set it to UMTS only, it will stay at 3G all the time.

will update ya'll once i've compared Dual and UMTS. decided that i can live with the fact my phone last one full day cause i'm quite irritated with the fact that my data connection halts when i'm doing voice calls while on EDGE.

tried running my phone on UMTS mode from 9am morning onwards...the battery couldn't even last a day. by 9pm i had to switch back to GSM mode cause got 2 bars left only. i wonder when only we can have stable 3G network.

downloaded and installed ovi suite 2. the interface looks pretty neat. manage to successfully backup my phone. now downloading the firmware, so freaking longgggggggg!!! don't know if it's streamyx problem or Nokia's server problem. 215 minutes left :\

Added on December 6, 2009, 5:48 pmok, confirm it's streamyx problem. i VPN-ed into my SG office and downloading from SG office back to my laptop. so so so much faster. 4 minutes left, hopefully installation goes smoothly!
