QUOTE(selfdz87 @ Jan 15 2010, 02:42 PM) also cannot bro... Wrong type of RAM spotted.already try all the 8 usb port at the back of my mobo... i think the problem is my wifi adapter.... not my lovely mobo... so its mean my Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D rated 1.8v can push to 2000Mhz also bro?? The maximum recommended Vdimm for P55 series CPUs is 1.65V; 1.8V will permanently damage your CPU in a short while. |

QUOTE(stacko @ Jan 26 2010, 10:38 PM) To oc i5-750, is it compulsory to have specialised heatsink/fan and/or performance ram? If using stock heatsink and normal/value ram, can oc or not? Intel stock HSF is not recommended for OC. There are many decent 3rd party coolers in market ie. Prolimatech Megashadow/Megahalem, TRUE120, Vernomous-X (soon) etc... |

Intel certified HyperX
Kingston has announced that its KHX2400C9D3T1K2/4GX dual-channel DDR3 kit has been certified by Intel which means that this one will be the fastest XMP memory kit in retail. The new Kingston HyperX kit features two 2GB modules working at 2400MHz with CL 9-11-9-27 latencies at Intel friendly 1.65V. The new kit is cooled by Kingston's recognizable blue T1 HyperX heatsinks. Although Kingston was keen on announcing the Intel certification, it has yet to reveal the precise availability date or the actual price of this kit, but considering the specs we doubt it will be cheap. The KHX2400C9D3T1K2/4GX kit is backed by a lifetime warranty. ![]() |

QUOTE(yeepi @ Mar 30 2010, 04:49 PM) bro, kindly click the url above. u'll know wat i mean. IN THE EXAMPLE ABOVE, THE WEBSITE REVIEWED THE OVERCLOCKING USING MATX BOARD FOR ONLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DUALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL COREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I WANT TO SEE THE REVIEW OF USING MATX BOARD THAT OC-ING QUADDDDDDDDDDD COREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I5 750............. AND I7 860 SINCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THEY WEREEEEEEEEEEEE USING THE SAMEEEEEEE SOCKET. "Overclockers considering an upgrade from dual-core to quad-core processors should consider our previous experience before attempting to push those higher-wattage processors to their limits on any low-cost motherboard."edit: im not a very good overclocker like you It doesn't mean that mATX cant OC quad core at all. It can but since it's built with low cost so expect it to be for normal non insane OC only. U might consider DFI MI P55-T36 & Asus Maximus 3 Gene, Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 or if u can afford, EVGA P55 micro. |

QUOTE(Hara520 @ Apr 16 2010, 09:20 AM) last time i hit it to 4.2ghz...ilde load 80++c At these clocks, what vcore is pumped?so now drop to 3.8ghz,but hot oso.... near 50c~(ilde) then now u use dual fan oso hot like this??? 4ghz --->97c? damn, better change back to air cooling~ I doubt that H5O will hit that high temp with dual fans. It could b sth wrong with the cooler setup. Mount it in front intake way? The inlet n outlet tubing of the rad should b positioned at the bottom. What kind of fans r u using? |

QUOTE(shinzhizu @ Jul 27 2010, 08:46 AM) Custom blend with max amount of free memory will only stress the dram.I always prefer 6hrs run bcos most of the time the wrong dram timing will produce error at 3hrs. tFAW should b set to 30 to pass this 3hrs priming. As for LinX, lower tRCD set read to read (same rank) and write to write (same rank) prefer 6 ie. from 7-8-7-20 to 7-7-7-20 Good luck! Added on July 27, 2010, 10:53 amAt least 20 runs for LinX.
