haha.. mine is Core i5 750 running on MSi P55 GD80.
If i tekan my mobo's OC Genie, I heard can only reach 3.63GhZ. (and they use 1.4v)<---too high for liking.

If oc myself, can reach 4GHz right? But i don't really know how to play oc..

hahaha, yeah, I'm starting to get interested in Xigmatek products. They're quite good.
As for cooler, I am planning to get CM Hyper212+. Then i will try to oc and keep it at a stable 4Ghz on 1.35v like yours.

In the meanwhile.. I just gonna use OC Genie and leave it at 3.63Ghz on 1.4v....
I know the voltage is high, but i malas want to tweak anything.

I haven't used OC Genie yet. I read about it and decided that it might get pretty hot,
so I'm waiting for new HSF before I try anything.
I am only using regular Intel Turbo boost now and this is how it looks while stressed:

Using Core i5 750 (1156) want to overclock further.
Need a quick opinion.
From the following, which would be your choice:
1)Xigmatek Balder
2)Xigmatek Dark Knight <-----not sure about socket. Some sites say they have a 1156 version now.
3)CM Hyper212+
4)CM Hyper TX3
5)another cooler within this price range

That sounds pretty nice. Was installation difficult? Did u have to cabut the motherboard?
And did it come with TIM?

71C is okay for stock what, mine went up to 82C when i was on stock cooler. lol tongue.gif

82C????? What kind of stressful software were u running man? Got on your air con anot? You OC to 4Ghz isit....

my highest temp on i5 750 on stock cooler was only 75C on high stress load. (even 3.6ghz)

now I insalled one more casing fan and the temp actually drop by 2 degrees.
LOL. I didn't expect that.
