want to ask all pro here...i have this i5 mobo & using stock cooler...
i go tho bios and turn off the Turbo & C1E & EIST....
and im reading about it that turbo can make the multiplier goes to x24 & ya seems it really goes to x24 multiplier when i stress the cpu..
and C1E & EIST something about vdroop and multiplier....my question is...is it any harm to my cpu if i turn off all those three features?..
thx!...
ppl only turn off those feature to get stable overclock. if u dont overclock u should on all this because it will help u safe on ur electric bill

hmm after searching & googling i think turn off Turbo will not do any harm to ur proc

...
hmm still confuse about C1E & EIST....check my cpuz the vCore & multiplier not going down =.=...
it keeps at 1.248v & multiplier x20 all time....my temp all shows below 56c all the time....aiseh...no harm ka..
still confuse...some said off C1E only...some said turn off both....but is it true it will make the proc not stable if turn on both features?..
hmm im asking about lyn users experience...hope can tell a bit....thx ya!

swt.. y would they invent something tht can harm ur proc
EIST is same like turbo. Its also known as intel speedstep.
c1e is and advance c state. except c1e can also reduce voltage = save electricity
