How much does your Intel Mobo cost?Because I bought my Gigabyte for only Rm260 and that was in Feb 2010...And my mobo can OC and just wondering how does Intel mobo perform and does it have any special feature?Never seen or tried one before... biggrin.gif

Well, honestly there are nothing special with Intel board with some notable exception(EG:Extreme Series line up)
Their board are bare,no BIOS tweaking option,no OC option, unattractive colour scheme
This apply to their normal line up
According to my experience, their P965 board RMA rate is quite high

AFAIK,Intel don't make their own motherboard
At least the low end budget one anyway
Maybe some QA issue or cost cutting stuff but i can't confirm here laugh.gif

read this first, http://www.overclock.net/amd-general/91-ul...king-guide.html
very important, make sure you read everything carefully and remember it nod.gif once you 'click' in, it is very addictive.

your rig is a HP one right? I think the BIOS is all locked up.

It is normal to see abnormally high temperature for Linx stress test run smile.gif
This is normal cause Linx stress your processor much more then your day to day application will hence the extremely high temperature
And 9x C is still ok as long as the temperature hover around there and does not shoot up sweat.gif
