QUOTE(*FallenAngel* @ Oct 12 2009, 01:13 PM) Welcome luc n predator to the hobby..... Ok!noted!now i can have confidence a bit la to jaga my T. Predator : They seldom bite (for some species). Handling are not advisable coz they are display pets. . About clean up, we dont do much maintenance, except pick up the food leftovers after feeding and some weekly misting. Luc : There are basically 2 main groups of tarantula, old world and new world. As lester said, only new world kick hairs and on the other hand old world are more aggressive (these are their defensive mechanism). Tilll now there is still 0 case of death due to tarantula's bite, so... dun worry Added on October 12, 2009, 1:51 pm QUOTE(s98432512 @ Oct 12 2009, 01:46 PM) wow, that's one sexy spider..can't wait for my spider to grow like that! QUOTE(rideon @ Oct 12 2009, 02:46 PM) most of us here only feed our T's with cricket or mealworms. pinkies are not suggested diet. To make them grow fast is to feed them continuously but that will fasten its death n thus oso making it burst due to falls or sharps things that u may not notice. So its up to u.. i tend to feed my T untill its fat n stop till they molt again.. still waiting for my rosea to molt... shes fat but duwan molt... ehy?if the T got fat, and it falls suddenly, can burst ah d perut? hmm..been browsing through the MTS site, and still learning.. but i like the zebra T..very nice la.. |

This sp are burrowers they will spend most of its time underground. but will web like crazy on the subs above n below to detect its prey running along it. its hard to see these guys out and about.. always stays in its burrow.. Temperament very aggressive and eats like a pig.. just drop a mealworm inside or the entrance of its hide it will come out n take the prey item.. interesting to observe... wah, very fast ah ur T grow..hmm..nice.. QUOTE(HyourinMaru @ Oct 14 2009, 03:23 PM) Depends wat T u r talking, some may b fast grower some mayb slow. But feeding and temperature do affect a T growth rate.BTW dun think it is good to feed the dead mealworm dat ady start to chg color to ur T.Is ur rosea fat? Then it is nvm,it wont die so fast plus rosea is slow grower, which mean its metabolism also slow ok bro, thanks for the info..guess i need to throw away la the the worm..hmm..well, was hoping that my T would molt..And Ts r hardy any spiders which can grow quite fast? |
