There's a theory going around that mice/pinkies have too much calcium which can cause molt problems. As far as I know, this is still a theory. Perhaps you can raise one of your t's on pinkies and let us know if there are any problems! tongue.gif

Added on August 30, 2009, 12:04 amGetting 3 T's tomorrow(hopefully) rclxm9.gif Can't wait! Been a while since I got new T's. 2 of the 3 I already have but these are confirmed females. Will post pics when I get them.

Very nice! Always glad to see more peeps appreciating these pet holes! biggrin.gif
I think the term 'pet holes' do a disservice to these T's cause they are usually quite visible- except for one of my cobalts, all my pet holes can be seen almost on a daily basis.

Start a colony of roaches! An adult roach is slightly larger than a pinky (length wise), not sure about weight though. hmm.gif

Did you start a burrow for it? hmm.gif

I set mine up like this...

Most of my haplos will find the hole within the first night, some will start expanding on it the very first day. I used to set the hole up on the side, I still do sometimes, but since they usually hang out at the mouth of the burrow it does not really make much of a difference. One nice thing about burrow entrances in the middle is you will get a volcano when they start expanding on it. biggrin.gif

laugh.gif They all burrow like ants! tongue.gif But that's the nice thing about burrowers, they build interesting burrows! If yours is like mine, it will be hanging out at the burrow entrance often.

LOL- true. One of the reasons why I like burrowers- so easy to set up. Unfortunately one of the 3 I'm getting is a pokie. Building the lids for an arboreal setup takes more work!
