i found problem in noesday is that same bloodline breeding will lead to weak tarantula for next gens...... of them ...... and so on alot lot tarantula keeper here most likely love to keep alot of type of tarantula even thoese hard to find in malaysia one example blue fang recent topic ..... if follow on that might be some rare bird eater .......
and keeper keeping them only one and dont breed them they will become more and more rare and will reach extinction if y example i have read on few article that Mexican red knee now are hardly find in the wild and it all depend on the captive breed .... Added on October 8, 2009, 1:33 am QUOTE(RyoKenzaki @ Oct 8 2009, 01:09 AM) not say untill like this........ just like human we all are human so there are blood mix children birth from mother chinese and father malay ..... so example tarantula Brachypelma with the same Brachypelma but not red knee but red Rump .. A child resulting from a chinese and malay parent is like different morph of tarantula being bred
EG: RCF Rosea and normal rosea Yes its true that not many of us are breeding our T here, but why would u suggest cross breeding instead of finding a mating partner of the exact sp? Seller usually dun take in just one head per sp Im sure they take in more than that, and if the buyer are really keen to breed it, of cause he will try2 contact other buyer to see if they have a pair or not too Aside from this, do look at the downside of cross breeding Not only it is a big risk where the male will be eaten instead of humping, the offspring of inbreeding specimen are often not healthy and could not produce offspring when they matured Take a look at Liger aka lion xbreed tiger Most of the time inbreeding for the first few generation doesnt give much impact like mammal from what i'd read It's not that there is only one seller taking in those tarantula, we have so many seller, stock from different supplier, different bloodline Imo u dun really need2 worry bout inbreeding in tarantulas Just my 2cent |
