QUOTE(alessamourner @ Aug 27 2009, 02:26 AM) my download speed cant get more than 20KBps past few days I don't think TM will inform us with no more unlimited broadband..browsing webpage & streaming video sometime ok sometime ko first tmnet claim got technical problem then TPB tracker close down and now this................. the day that tmnet announced no more unlimited broadband and that will be the same day I'm going to unsubscribe my sh@tmyx account have u all read on TM recent FAQs? they define unlimited usage as unlimited time of using the internet but not unlimited of downloading.. If I'm not mistaken, there is a clause in the contract we signed for streamyx stating that they have the right to change the term and condition without prior notice.. so even at that time we signed for unlimited 'downloading' they can still change it..correct me if I'm wrong.. |

Most screamyx users are using 1MB package, and even 1MB TMnut still not capable to handle and need to put cap on it? It's not a money issue coz TMnut earn a lot so no problem for them if they want to buy more international bandwidth.
When you go have a look of other countries, I can't find any ISP around the world that not able to handle 1MB and need capping. If you talk about the Australia, although they did have capping but their connection is fast, more faster than screamyx 1MB. They just want to suck more money from us without paying anything. |

Since when the word usage = time !
http://www.streamyx.com/why_streamyx/why_s...d=what_streamyx Streamyx is Malaysia's premier broadband provider, hooking up Malaysians nationwide with the fast-paced online world. With Streamyx broadband you'll be: * perpetually online * enjoying unlimited usage for a fixed rate, and * downloading data at lightning speeds of up to 4.0Mbps! Perpetually online is unlimited time right... They shouldn't claim unlimited usage. Anyway in another thread 4Mbps user only 20GB they already tried to cap his/her bandwidth. This is too much! |

Quote from streamyx website....
Streamyx is a high-speed broadband Internet access service which provides 'always on' connection to the Internet with speed/bandwidth from 384kbps up to 4Mbps. With the high-speed connectivity/bandwidth, the service is ideal to support most broadband application such as, Web Hosting, video streaming, e-commerce, distance learning and others. |
