Another stupid move by those noob, by apply quota doesn't means will improve browsing speed or low latency, they just capped us to get more user. If they not upgrade no matter how they cap, how they throttled user still get nothing, for those who dreaming after this move will getting low latency or fast browsing you better wake up, since the first day they throttled us we never get any improvement. Shame on you TM -.-"

QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Aug 28 2009, 03:50 PM) lol fool. there's many other things to do other than download pirate movies, games etc and p0n0s. yeah i'm sure you'll be downloading Linux every month. even then it's just 700MB, you'll still have plenty of quota left. just plan ahead if you know you'll be downloading something big. or stop being a poor ******* and just order the CD.a complete Linux ISO would get u around 700MB to 4GB+ already. let's say you're involved into SOHO video editing with friends all over Malaysia and the format is in HD, that's gonna get u a whole lot of bandwidth u know. there's many other things in the world besides pirates and p0n0s. i guess you're one of those that mindlessly download em yeah? as for video editing, i'm sure the cap for the SOHO plan is going to be different than a home user. if you're running a business on a home internet plan, well it's your fault if you run out of bandwidth. and stop being a downie. if i was mindlessly downloading illegal stuff, i'd be pissed off with the rest of these retards here. |

Official news, I am capped
However, I support this unpopular move. It's a good deterrent to bandwidth hogs. Tired of seeing my speed dwindle down to 10-20kb/s every weekend. If the rumored 1mbps/40GB is true, I'd say it's a fair deal. They cap you at half the speed(512kbps) is still a reasonable speed to stream media online. Of course if you want to compare it to 'unlimited' well cap is never fair Die to BT'er that download things they don't need. |
