Recently i had installed fedora core 3 and use whole nite online search for theme to dowload.
Here is mine gnome theme. Later on i will make 1 for my KDE..hehe.. You can post up urs also.

if ur using FC3 & gnome, go to ur foot bar-->preferences-->theme

If I'm using mandrake how to change the theme ? I just dont understand,everytime when I reboot, it change to default theme..swt.

I dont know whethere Im GNOME or KDE, oh what a n00b i am.

When u boot up see the flash screen whether the menu is kde or gnome

Is it possible to change the picture format ? In windows we are given with many options either to choose .bmp, .jpeg,.gif . Can this be apply in linux ?

ooo i got a really cool background from suse9.1 i cant surf the net with linux yet so no screenshot but those of u who uses suse9.1 its the alien one...it comes with suse...its really cool...not a theme just a bg...i'll post a screenshot when i get on9 with my linux

i also use suse 9.1. The alien one? what u mean. i cant get it. so far i just know how to change the background in suse 9.1. i have trouble in installing a new icon in suse 9.1 any body can help. where to fine beautiful icon. one more question, are themes in linux is similar to themes in windows, i mean in windows, if we change the themes, the icon, font, background, mouse pointer and others are also changed. and how about linux, the linux themes also change all that?

please help me to change my suse 9.1desktop. but so far i think my desktop look great
