Uh not really.

I did both accounting and finance.

Finance being far more interesting than accounting anyday.

that's pretty interesting
sammore you dont find finance hard

i see, i do agree with you. however, for those who didn't get the chance to enroll for finance units, they will definitely need some time to adjust to its basic fundamentals and terms.

personal finance usually requires you to know about some basic finance stuffs like the time value of money (e.g. compounding & discounting), loans and amortized loans, investments, bonds, etc. basically, it teaches you how to be money savvy.

i believe so when it comes to theory and practise, it's pretty different. students might not be thoroughly well prepared to bring their knowledge to the real world practises. the rich today, for instance, billionaires without high academic qualifications or degree do exists and i guess there's something that separates people who are successful and those who are not.

hmm imo tough chance but if you get a pretty good lecturer or shall i say, a senior expert to offer a bit of guidance, who knows it might strike you to adopt the right attitude to manage capitals.

it's no longer the input, but rather the output of what you've learnt.

I have a few friends who did great studying finance.

Besides, I like the portion about derivatives securities in finance. Ie. futures, options and forwards.

I was lucky, had a great friend who coach me through my finance subs.
