 How to oc my e6550 to 3.0ghz, not so pro in oc

I using asus ai oc and manage to make it jump from 2.33 to 2.6ghz oni, i ended up playing wth the voltage and i crashed my bios setting and to reboot all over again

i using asus P5KPL-AM mobo and intel e6550 c2d

any idea how i can oc it to reach 3.0ghz or higher ?
pls help like setting volatage to what value and fsb or watever

the clocks you are doing on your board, which is based on a G31 chipset is pretty good actually, as it is reaching the limits of a G31 chipset, i would think a 1600mhz bsel pad mod will do your cpu clocking good, but you need to verify if your processor will boot at 400mhz fsb at default voltages


what sort of hardware are you using? like power supply, graphic card, rams?
