i just got 3rod this day....i didn't know what to do..damn xbox 360...

the consumer at my place said that my 360 motherboard must be replaced by a new one..and that cost rm500....is that true?? i scared if my motherboard will be replaced with the same one and not the falcon motherboard...any suggestion from the expert.....

is that really the new falcon set??? if it were....then...sigh...i should sell my xbox 360..instead of repair it....

Wii is cheap but the graphics and games are just for kids...
360 is balanced but too easy to break........(3rod..1rod..etc..)

Anybody has their consoles get 3ROD...How much the shopkeeper could cost you to fix the 3ROD??...and after fix it...is it your consoles will never get the 3ROD again? or there's no hope for the 360 to revive after get 3ROD? Can anybody give the answer...

actually i little to be a bit lazy to search...that why i'm posting a new thread..but now i'm getting the answer...

After my 360 has 3rod...what method that can be use to revive my 360..i just know one method..that was x-clamp...other than that? and how much it will cost? rm50, rm100, etc? and how to maintain my 360 back after been repaired so it will never get 3ROD again....thank u..

what method....that cost around rm150-rm250....

do sg accepted modded consoles? how much cost to x-clamp my 360?

when i search on the internet..i getting to know what type of 3rod i got...so far i get code 0102 error code...but the question is..what problem cause by 0102 code...can anybody tell me...

Added on March 5, 2008, 7:58 pmjust 4 the info....you can check what error that your 360 have..by doing this method...

hold the sync button (the little one on the consoles (white colour)) and then press the eject button on your consoles....

when you do this 4 times..you can see the LED will show a series of number of ROD according to your error...

4 lights of ROD blinking = 0
1 lights of ROD blinking = 1
2 lights of ROD blinking = 2
3 lights of ROD blinking = 3

example :

You try the method above 1st time = get 4 lights
You try again 2nd time = get 1 lights
Your try agin 3rd time = get 4 lights
You try last = get 2 lights

*Just try 4 times because after 4 time the LED will change back to 3ROD

The results you get is error code : 0102

Maybe experts or MS know what the problem is...

i'll just send my 3rod 360 to SG....via my friends...even i don't have my warranty anymore....to people that keep ask...if you want your 360 to revived once more and keep maintain as always, the only way is to change the 360 mobo itself with a new falcon one, any others method such as x-clamp, towel, etc will not guarantee your 360 not to hit by 3rod anymore. .believe me...if you lost your warranty, you can still send it to the SG for a mobo replacement with a price...

about the cost, its below rm400 including sending cost,mobo cost,and services cost..but the problem is MS SG just accept many sku..and not one sku....forget to tell about that info...but i'm not very sure about that..you can try to send one sku...for me...i get lucky coz my friend send my sku with others that got 3rod.....

What...how do you know you get a Xenon one after you send it to SG? Didn't they change a falcon for you.....how much do you spend to send you console to SG?

You know what...now they got the new falcon mobo codename Ophus....i read from a website said this opus mobo is just a replacement for Xenon mobo if someone send their consoles to MS because of the 3ROD problem....after you get back your sku from MS...then you will get your new Ophus mobo 360 with a new power supply and a small yellow slip said OPHUS on it....

rumour said jasper sku will be coming on 08/08/08....don't know if it true or not...but rumour also said the jasper sku will be released August this year....

yea...you have the point there...anyway..i will wait for it...
