Dear sifu(s),
alert!! newbie here... i own a 2G iphone. bought in hong kong last year. was reading this forum ever since. soo excited with the upgrades and mods options. but with the techie terms and alien words, confusion steps, warning notes from other member that their iphone stop working when doing upgrades ... really scares me, hence demotivating me to do so.. (jailbreak, pwnage, quickpwn, baseband, DFU, ipsw, etc etc... arghhhh.. what are those words.. where they coming from? )

hope anyone can help me.. step by step guidance, what i need to do to upgrade my iphone. thanks in advance for all the helps..

btw, can ihpone do bluetooth file transfer?

Unlocked? (or Part Number): <? dunno how to obtain this information.. but i have a unlocked phone>
Current Firmware : 1.1.4 (4A102)
iTunes Version : ver 8
Computer Platform : windows
Jailbreaking software : dunno.
Problem Encountered : want to upgrade to the latest firmware.

Steps Had Taken (list down) : i ve browse thru the net, reading page by page in this forum.. only top add confusion. downloaded quickpwn 2.2.5.1 but it says only can be used with fw 2.0 above.
felt like a dinosour here.. so aged.

damn... making my 1.1.4 is a sure the only living dinosour these days..
