hi, i just bought used iphone. in the iphone itself got cool games and most of it paid version from previous owner. if i sync the iphone with my itunes. does all the games gone? ( previously i use ipod touch ).  and all my games at ipod touch are all free.  thanks.

u can try choose option “Transfer Purchases” when sync your iphone in itunes...that what i do coz before this all my apps is purchased using my ipod touch...but some of the apps cant be transfer and i just re-download it again using itunes...

I have a question about my iphone...Please help

Unlocked? (or Part Number): Unlocked Version From Australia via Ultrasnow & Jailbreaked
Current Firmware:4.26.08
iTunes Version : 8.2 - Currently using OS3.0
PC/MAC : Windows Vista
Jailbreaking software : Pwange - Redsnow 7.1
Problem Encountered : Maxis kept on charging me GPRS data everday for minimum of RM 0.05 to up till RM 2.00, even when I do not use internet.
Steps Taken So Far : I turned off all edge/ 3G, push mail, re-format my whole iphone and removed all apps. it still happens...Installed & Using Boss Prefs now to control but it doesn't seem to be able to stop the connection to Maxis's edge.
P/S: I tried to call Maxis to turn off my 3G services. But I was told that they are unable to turn off 3G for me because I am subscribing the prepaid services.

oh. but the purchases for all the game in my iphone were done by previous owner. So if i do the transfer purchase were all the games from the iphone taken off ?

Yes that is possible.  All U need to do is restore the new phone from your previous backups.

forgot to include...before u allowed to transfer, u have to authorize the computer before connecting the device...that is to any computer that is authorized for your iTunes Store account...so as for your case..u can't

unless the previous owner is so (ever) kind to let you know his password.

meaning i cant sync my iphone forever??   only can use 3rd party software if want trasnfer music/video/photo.

out of all honesty, those apps don't belong to you anyway; they belong to the previous owner who purchased them legitimately.

when the owner sold you the iPhone, he/she only transferred the ownership of the hardware and indirectly the OS from apple, to you.

sbsettings does not 100% disable data. you can try this though

go to settings>general>>network>celular data network
for celular data apn enter gibberish. i don't know about maxis apn but for e.g. i am using digi. the apn should be diginet. change it to diginetzzz or diginet12345. if you need to access data delete the letters and numbers you have added. hope it solves your problem.

Actually he wants to sync/transfer the previous owner apps/games to his iTunes. That will only work if the previous owner authorize him to do so. If not, even syncing to his own account will delete the games/apps from previous owner.
