Looks like your tweaking the "Carrier Bundle Support" messed up the carrier bundle. Go http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/752226 and read more on fixing your issue.

if u asked me the detail, i dont know. and i dont want to play any guessing game.. but i hope with what im sharing all the gurus and iphone user here could figure out something when encounter the same problem.. anyway thanks all for helping me!

It's obviously the iBlacklist app. It have a privacy feature to hide the sms text. That's why I ask if you have any sms app or any kind. If you read the iBlacklist manual, under "extra" view there's a setting called SMS privacy. If that's turn on then you'll get the SMS like that.

Hi there... Have anyone experience the sound of typing words suddenly muted when texting? Then after typing few more words, it appears again... Is that normal??

Hey is it normal for my iPhone To become hot. Eventhough I use it quite little. But once I use it for 5 min It gets heated up easily. If heavy use like gps + iPod the temperature the iPhone is unbelivable. Damn hot like a sick person forehead. Is it normal ar. Any solution to this?

but during the winter season, it is quite rare for it to build up heat (well at least for me la)

i have tried the method u mentioned above, but the outcome is totally different.

refer back to my 1st post about the problem, screen shot obviously shows the symptom. the sms privacy feature in iblacklist did not results the symptom that i faced. i have tried to turn on the feature and what it did was simply disable the sms notification. no tones, no popup at all.. i turn on the sms privacy, use my other handphone to send a sms and no notification/tone at all, but it shows the new sms in inbox.

while upgrading the iblacklist do solve the problem, but i dont think sms privacy feature has anything to do with the problem.

Since you said the problem settled after upgrading iBlacklist, does that not indicate the issue was with iBlacklist? I've seen alot of this issue happening in the biteSMS forum where user have biteSMS and iBlacklist installed. That's why I ask if you have any SMS app installed that might conflict with it. Since you only have iBlacklist, I suspect it to be the culprit. If you upgrade iBlacklist and the problem still persist, then it's not iBlacklist thats causing the problem, right?

Make an adhoc connection. PC act as a wireless access point to iPhone. PC must have wireless card or USB wireless dongle.

you can set any songs/tunes that you desire as your ringtone without the need of jailbreaking

As what Nok said, you don't have to jailbreak your iPhone to be be able to do what you want. Just take some time to either google it up or read the threads here for the tutorials.

i'll make it siimple for u
look for tis iringer software, run it on ur pc..create ur ringtone, n export it via itunes
just sync it with itunes n it wud be thr
no sweat at all

hi, i just bought used iphone. in the iphone itself got cool games and most of it paid version from previous owner. if i sync the iphone with my itunes. does all the games gone? ( previously i use ipod touch ). and all my games at ipod touch are all free. thanks.

Hi, I am new here...

iPhone Generation : Iphone 3G - 16G
Unlocked? (or Part Number): Unlocked Version From Australia via Ultrasnow & Jailbreaked
Current Firmware:4.26.08
iTunes Version : 8.2 - Currently using OS3.0
PC/MAC : Windows Vista
Jailbreaking software : Pwange - Redsnow 7.1
Problem Encountered : Maxis kept on charging me GPRS data everday for minimum of RM 0.05 to up till RM 2.00, even when I do not use internet.
Steps Taken So Far : I turned off all edge/ 3G, push mail, re-format my whole iphone and removed all apps. it still happens...Installed & Using Boss Prefs now to control but it doesn't seem to be able to stop the connection to Maxis's edge. doh.gif
P/S: I tried to call Maxis to turn off my 3G services. But I was told that they are unable to turn off 3G for me because I am subscribing the prepaid services. rclxub.gif
