QUOTE(sokryswaslike @ Aug 29 2009, 12:23 AM) After using an application, does pressing the home button quit the application completely? As in like it's no longer running in the background. by right it should (at least for me) non 3G S -> hold the home button until it re-springs 3G S -> hold the top right power button until "slide to power off" comes around and then only hold the home button until it re-springs. however nothing beats a complete reboot!

If the phone is not jailbroken then it will not be running in the background. This applies to all apps from the appstore except for some stock apps i.e. safari, phone, mail etc. If you jailbreak your phone, you can make any application run in the background using backgrounder. @nokia2003 The "hold power button until 'slide to power off' and hold until it resprings" are firmware specific i.e. fw3.0 and above and not phone specific.

Actually the new re-spring method is kinda inconvenient. Mostly I just press and hold both buttons until it reboots.

@Wonka, Let's see... ask urself what U wanna put in? We have a forummer who stores his Movies on his iPhone hence space was always an issue to him. For me, I never quite utilised my 16GB i3G. On my i3GS I have about 18.6GB left which means I've occupied about 13.4GB of space; out of which 10GB is for my MP3s.

I dont really have that much music to listen to anyways. Well, not as much as yours. So I might get a 16GB with iData plan lol. Thanks. QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Aug 30 2009, 01:31 AM) Phewww. @Wonka, I never had an MP3 before I got the i3G of mine. It's just that over the last few months, I seem to have collected quite a collection; and since I've space I just leave it there. I haven't had time to listen to my Podcasts so I haven't sync it into me i3GS.
I think 16GB would be more than suffice for U and if it's insufficient, U'll learn to make do with what U haf *smiles*
