whats the app called?i tried to look under "business" only saw a few but its for wireless i suppose...so u mean i only need to install on my phone..nothing else on the pc right??because it doesnt make sense to install something on the pc everytime u use a diff machine..lol..

for the tethering..im actually able to do it on my mac without a prob...but im trying to do the same thing on my company com..which im not *suppose* to have admin right...so if possible..i dont wanna login as admin to install itune.....last night i tried to boot my mbp into xp..b4 i install itune...the machine wont recognize the phone as a modem...it shows as camera/phone...after i install itune..everything work out just fine...i guess i would try the driver thing... =)

but...after i add it...go out to home screen...then go back in contact...
the photo disappear from the contact...

well..USB part stil doesnt work unless i install itune..even i copy the modem drive n paste it in driver folder in sys32...

anyway..im trying on bluetooth PAN as well..everything goes on smoothly..untill the part where i had to add the phone as a PAN devices...my XP requires me to type a passkey (there is no option for dont use any passkey)....but no matter wad i type..the iphone seems like reject it straight away...never even prom me to type passkey..haha..anyone know whats wrong?

my iphone crashed! after i have installed one of tis software fr cydia.
the apple store told me that they gonna charge rm150 for that, because the system are crashed. hell no! how can i restore it to norm again? anybody, pls help. thnx.

The pass key code is on ur iPhone - a prompt will appear and give it to U. Check the settings

Can't U just do a complete restore and start from scratch all over again?

IINM the iPhone BT only allows it to connect to BT headsets, you can't create a PAN without a specific app. I might be wrong.

friend, can you reboot the phone afterwards? All you need to do is connect back to itunes, and restore your phone. Habis cerita.

You can create PAN via iPhone BT - it works on FW3.0 where you're able to Internet Tether

we first type the passcode on our XP right??? after i press next..nothing happens on my iphone..and XP shows my iphone rejected it

one question.

i have an officially unlocked iphone 3g. my problem is that after i jb i will have problem receiving calls. most of the time the caller will get number not active error message.

my question is that, if i have an officially unlocked iphone 3g do i have to download ultrasn0w? i am using os 3.0.1

fyi everything works fine if i don't jb my device. if i jb then all the problem comes. i can make calls and send sms'es. no problem with that. the only problem is receiving calls and sms'es. thanks in advance for your help.

u dont have to use ultrasnow if ur phone is unlocked by default..correct me if im wrong =)

yes you dont need ultrasnow but you can use redsnow to JB if you want to.

i used redsnow 0.8 to jb but once jb i have problem receiving calls and sms. anyone facing this problem? works fine without jb. i want to dl cycorder and ibluetooth.

Apologies but I can't quite check it out re the passcode; my XPS in use. See if U can google up step by step instructions. As a n00b, I had no problems setting up PAN on my Vista so U should be able to figure it out too *smiles*

that's the problem. i have been asking around and no one seems to know. was hoping some expert here can give some pov regarding this issue.

Does anyone have Google UK as the default google search location in their Safari? Mine is set to UK. Would like to change it to either MY or US but don't think I am able to. Any hints?

edit: got my unit (3GS 32GB) from Maxis. Using a non-maxis line.

I'm currently using iPhone 3GS from Maxis without jailbreaking.

I've not been able to receive phone calls whenever EDGE is running.

Every time I finish browsing some webs with EDGE, I received SMS from Maxis of miss calls (if someone did call me during my running on EDGE).

This does not happen while I run on 3G, but not everywhere is covered with 3G in my place.

May I know if this is normal?
