Hi guys,
I'm planning to buy 8GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo Mark II for my PSP.
I always experience video lagging when playing game like Resistance Retribution. I have 2 questions:
1) I wonder if Mark II, which suppose to be 70% faster can solve this video lagging problem? 2) Is there a significant difference between Genuine Sony memory stick and China made (which is half price cheaper) in term of performance and durability (not so easily faulty).

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Aug 25 2009, 03:24 PM) IMHO: use UMD. problem solved. support ori. But seeing it's possible to legally purchase and DL games into memory stick I think the discussion on memory stick is valid, just that don't do it for ill intention.

then TS should have mention that. I've purchased Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman! What did I do to deserve this and Hot Shot Golf 2 from US PSN - no lag when playing on my PSP from Sony memory stick.

For Memory Media... I will always get the Ori. 'cos you really dunno what you'll end up getting the China Brand. I got a 1 USB thumbdrive doorgift attending a seminar. 1st 6 months, it was 1GB, 6months later, suddenly it become 8MB, and no longer can use it. same goes with getting non-ori/refill inks for printers... thoes inks will clog/spoil your print head, as the chemical are different, which is lower grade. personal exp.

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Aug 25 2009, 05:09 PM) thanks for that info, just viewed it in wikipedia. Looks like what I have currently should be already Mark II because the Pro Duo only up to 128MB while mine is 4GB. Then I shall look into Pro HG Duo only. Anyone tested game on Pro HG Duo yet? Will it read fast enough to solve the video lagging problem?
