Seriously people, give this a try, with a proxy of course. It's fun, it's MUCH FASTER than DotA/HoN, and it's MORE INTUITIVE. It's seriously easier to play and get into than DotA and HoN, but yet has a second level of depth to it so that it's hard to master.

Delay is usually the same without proxy. Lag depends on your line.

It's playable up to 400 ping. I've seen people owning with 600+ ping too. So I'd say it isn't really that big of an disadvantage unless you're playing with people from Cali with imba 80-90 pings.

Yesterday I got called a noob "u're nb" by a sivir user. We were sharing a lane and apparently he saw fit to aim for soraka in an early game gank rather than ryze whom I've already marked. He then proceeded to say that I'm a noob cause I died when I was level 1. I hope I don't see him in ranked matches where teamwork is actually needed to survive.

Akali is fun! Just got used to her playstyle, I should really try an AP build though.

I went DPS and it was perfectly fine. AP maximizes her skills though I used a DPS + Crit item build to isolate and kill and managed somewhat fine.

Maybe I'm just nooby, but I don't think I can execute something like that even if the opponent was stupid. By the time I use W they'd already run.

A little curious about the item build for Akali.

I used to go Shoes, Phage, Avarice, Avarice to Youmu, Phage to Triforce then Guinsoo.

That was my crappy DPS build. Is it really wrong or still viable?

I tried what you suggested. Went Swiftness, Rylai, Gunblade. I had loads more HP but it seems like I couldn't actually get hits in as fast after the mark (Q). @_@

Can I skip the Gunblade and yet Youmu instead? XD I love that item for some reason.

And darn it, had a match earlier today with a team of Kass/Trist/Annie/Yi/Akali(Me), destined to fail. I actually had more HP than Kass. ~_~

Erm, Draft mode is usually each side team captain bans certain champions. (Was it 3 or 5? I don't remember) So the champ picking is like this...

1. Team A Captain Selects Champs to ban for Team B (So team B cannot choose the champs that Team A banned)
2. Team B Captain selects champs to ban for Team A
3. Player A1 picks champ, Player B1 picks champ.
4. Continue for the remaining Players.

Why do people keep comparing DotA heroes to LoL Champs. The stats are not the same, the damage formula isn't the same, the armour formula isn't the same, but yet people still say "ohai this is like bloodseeker/sandking/whatever in dota, wai are u playing dota ripoff?" This is why I can't stand playing LoL in Cybercafes even when the net at home was shit. "Yer, why you play this kiddy game, play hon better lar."

No, I do not want to play DotA with a coat fresh paint, I want to play a game with different mechanics and dynamics tyvm.

They wanted to make a SEA server for us. But it's taking forever, since a year ago? So we found ourselves a way to play on the NA server. Actually I think Riot knows about our frustrations so they made security lax.
