QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Aug 26 2009, 01:36 PM) with v30 the problem seem to been solve or has been minimize------------------------------------------------------------------------- After testin the garmin 5.00.60 here is what changes i notice : New: = New font. Not as nice as the one before. = Options for pictures. No idea what this is for yet = 2 new routing options. No idea what this do. = Doesnt crash anymore when browsing map = I feel its much faster than before. Just psychological effect maybe.... = Maybe i just nvr realize it but i now hav the map of the entire world Disappointed at: = The cursor still runs everywhere. Even when stationary it when stupid up n down. = Related to stupid cursor problem which cause it to think i'm on the wrong road and it began recalculating my route. = Still no general search. = Still no more advance avoidance options = Still no junction view Overall.. not bad la.. coz the more important issue they have resolve which is crashing when browsing map. This is enough to make me happy This post has been edited by WhitE LighteR: Aug 26 2009, 02:03 PM |

QUOTE(espiemovic @ Aug 26 2009, 06:54 PM) For thos who doesnt want new font, just follow my step. Remember to backup the file that u replace. Thanks for the tips... i shall try later. But somehow this new font i think is abit easier to read1. Look forder Garmin/font -- > delete Chinesse.ttf (I think this is optional, you can put back later if everything is ok) 2. folder Garmin/app --> delete gmsub.ini 3. folder Garmin/app/symbian/res --> edit or delete gmsup. If you delete won't have panoramio photo support. if you edit just delete local version. I did and my gmxt look like previous version. good luck. glad to hear from you... |

QUOTE(turion64 @ Aug 27 2009, 09:32 AM) bro, can u teach me how to install? install the older version 5.00.50. Its more straight forward. Coz it took me a few try wit 5.00.60 wit multiple failure before i can install it. The guide to install it is available everywhere on the net.. just google for it.i downloaded the file and it have a few folder instead of a .sis file. |

QUOTE(LemonBraders @ Sep 1 2009, 03:41 PM) well i discovered another problem of my tube 2day, not sure if its a prob though... @@ I nvr tried it.. but this i might suspect is a feature not a bug. My previous PDA also hav this function. When the battery is about to die, all non essential program and function shut off. Means no wifi, no bluetooth, screen to dim etc etcmy battery has 1 bar left, tried to open garmin n few other apps but failed. some apps have no problem executing it. dunno wat happen... |

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Sep 13 2009, 01:44 AM) can no problem... I'll be there again. So far all the meet ups I was there. Hopefully it will be soon. I feel tht out phone has been left out to die in term of software enhancement. we have the worst in term of firmware enhancement ... just look at our homescreen btw if firmware v31 (the complete one la.. not the beta release being leaked right now) doesn't come with enhanced homescreen/kinetic scrolling, I'm gonna change my phone. |

QUOTE(ezone @ Sep 13 2009, 01:04 PM) Any idea why GPS doesn't manage to detect signal while driving Myvi ? is it because of the v-cool tinted ? thanks haihz.. cant u test this urself? need to ask here mea....1. open garmin outside of ur car until u get a gps signal. open the gps info page to see signal strength. take note of it. 2. go inside ur car. compare that signal when ur outside the car. 3. TADA then u should know if its cause of vcool or not lor. Or u actually think ur gps personally dislike myvi? |
