After testin the garmin 5.00.60 here is what changes i notice :

New:

= New font. Not as nice as the one before.
= Options for pictures. No idea what this is for yet
= 2 new routing options. No idea what this do.
= Doesnt crash anymore when browsing map
= I feel its much faster than before. Just psychological effect maybe....
= Maybe i just nvr realize it but i now hav the map of the entire world

Disappointed at:

= The cursor still runs everywhere. Even when stationary it when stupid up n down.
= Related to stupid cursor problem which cause it to think i'm on the wrong road and it began recalculating my route.
= Still no general search.
= Still no more advance avoidance options
= Still no junction view

Overall.. not bad la.. coz the more important issue they have resolve which is crashing when browsing map. This is enough to make me happy

For thos who doesnt want new font, just follow my step. Remember to backup the file that u replace.
1.  Look forder Garmin/font -- > delete Chinesse.ttf  (I think this is optional, you can put back later if everything is ok)
2.  folder Garmin/app  --> delete gmsub.ini
3. folder Garmin/app/symbian/res --> edit or delete gmsup. If you delete won't have panoramio photo support. if you edit just delete local version.

i understand that killme requires a "special" type of signing software to sign killme, meaning normal signing software wont work.

Worthless application. You actually have to unlock your phone twice if you know what I mean. Normal way, then slide to unlock.
Install mykeylock 1.1.4 instead. Best application so far.

i heard tat mykeylock wil hide bhind the background of our 5800.. is it battery consuming? n where can i get it? hehe.. thanks

Yes, it runs behind the background. But you can always close it if you dont want.
Just search for the installer. You can easily find it.

i just used d normal dev cert, it works =S

when it says select sis file, i extracted the sis file into desktop and select it from there.
when it says select cert file, i did the same thing as above.
but when click "Sign", it says encryption error, cannot read C:\,....... Signing unsuccessful....
hmm... why is this happenning?

do u have the key and cert? u are using which method? the pc / hp method? there's alot of method of signing apps...

yeah i have the key and cert but i download both of them from diff sites, so im nt sure if those 2 are compatible.
the method im using is signing the sis file on the pc den transfer the sis file to the hp and install from there...
is that the correct way?

all of them got lower spec than 5800
but i love the homescreen for nokia 5230
