with v30 the problem seem to been solve or has been minimize

After testin the garmin 5.00.60 here is what changes i notice :

New:

= New font. Not as nice as the one before.
= Options for pictures. No idea what this is for yet
= 2 new routing options. No idea what this do.
= Doesnt crash anymore when browsing map
= I feel its much faster than before. Just psychological effect maybe....
= Maybe i just nvr realize it but i now hav the map of the entire world

Disappointed at:

= The cursor still runs everywhere. Even when stationary it when stupid up n down.
= Related to stupid cursor problem which cause it to think i'm on the wrong road and it began recalculating my route.
= Still no general search.
= Still no more advance avoidance options
= Still no junction view

Overall.. not bad la.. coz the more important issue they have resolve which is crashing when browsing map. This is enough to make me happy

i see most of the ppl say they take 2 hour + to change the module.The NCC ppl always like to format ppl memory and phone,but u can insist dunt want format.FORCE them!!!!

what is the latest firmware for 5800XM ?
mine is v21 and it keep corrupt my memory card and make my shortcut bar missing everytime i unplug it from usb.

any solution for this?

The pictures are for the pictures that have been geotagged. This can be done when you take a picture and select the option to geotag. I think then you can click on the picture and navigate to that picture. Have not tried yet, but my geotagged pictures come up first when I select that then all the other pictures in the gallery.

this is a known issue when using mass storage mode. Please disconnect properly or you will have malfunction homescreen.
FOTA is firmware over the air = upgrading the phone directly using internet (3g/wifi)

why need to change camera module ar ? waht is wrong with it ?

i tried safely remove hardware everytime, but sometimes the option is not there/it says that device in use (close all apps d)
any other way to fix this?

heard those who changed settles the issues of having lines and tiny dots when closing the camera with hand etc so since its free to do so.. why not??

im not sure how to create passwd for imgs n vids....
but u can hide them all from gallery by setting the folder/file attribute to 'hidden' using Y-browser.

Bro really sorry to hear that. Mine says 4.88 gb. But thank god on unlimited data plan. My suggestion is clear the packet data counter each time the new bill starts for you. And check it periodically. I had to do it prior to going on the unlimited data plan. This is for maxis. But for celcom, even for unlimited you better track via log. If not after 5 gb they will throttle your speed.

Lucky mine is 2.90mb
