i think i have ruined my phone battery life.
now can't even last for a full day.

Is this because I simply charge the battery whenever I want even though it is not yet near empty?

My tube also facing this kind of problem,
when the phone is fully charged, the 1st bar can last for 1 day, after dropping 1 bar, the second and third bar drop easily without making any call and playing around.

If you put phone over a night without "offline", 1 bar of battery drop also ~!

-----------------------------
My sonyericsson P1i (bought 2007) 's battery still going strong with "everyday" charged method.
Once it drop 1 bar, i will charge overnight ... i already done this few years ago for "Li-on" battery.
Tested Device -

O2 mini
O2 Atom
Sonyericsson P1i
Sonyericsson W800i

(using everyday charge method, no facing battery problem so far ...)

Can request a change of battery?
How long is the warranty for battery? 3 months? 6 months?
But I'm using my tube for 8-9 months now tho.

Quite bad I guess...although I prefer my display brightness to be at the maximum and also setting maximum for touch screen vibrate, I guess the battery is lousy as it can't even last a full day.

Battery life depends on your usage...

If i use WiFi and GPS...i can drain the battery pretty fast...1 day KO is pretty normal.

Bout the battery bar after dropping 1 bar, the subsequent bar will drop very fast is very normal. I do see this kind of situation in digital camera and my ipod as well. This is due to the fact that inaccuracy of the sensor ( forget the exact details ) .. Just like you using the speaker and blast at full volume while using GPS and Wifi .. you can see the battery bar straight drop 1 bar...but after awhile it will raise back.

If i dun use my phone extensively, it can last for 5-6 days like now during my exam season...no time play with it. sad.gif

N82, minus the touchscreen, but u do get 5MP camera with xenon flash (and a darn good quality 1) smile.gif
A-GPS
have you tried using A-GPS?
*
Yeah, the N82 is another perfect phone. If you don't want a touchscreen, then the N82 is best bang for buck with excellent camera that beats the pants off many 5M or even 8M camera phones.

Too bad the design is really bad...looks fugly and small keys...and 2007. Anyway, i wanted a touchphone...non-touchphone is so uncool nowadays. lol.

btw, what's the difference between A-GPS and GPS. I'm pretty confused. I understand A-GPS needed internet connection, thus cost $$$ if you're not careful. I have Garmin, GoogleMaps and the Nokia Map(which i haven't used yet). Garmin don't need internet right? I can use it without connecting to internet access point. I think it's only when you use the additional functions than you need internet access. But GoogleMap seems to need internet connection when i start it up.

Am i right?

A-GPS lock faster than integrated gps. Garmin need a-gps to lock the signal faster unless you willing to wait for the integrated gps to lock the signal.
Using a-gps only cost Rm0.10 whistling.gif
