This is true for a short period only. After a few hours I find that you need to enable A-GPS again in order to lock, even at the same location. No such problem before I upgraded firmware to V30 from V21......anytime, anywhere can lock with just Integrated GPS. Only the time taken may sometime be slightly longer in some cases. If you use Garmin regularly it is advisable not to upgrade now. Wait for V31 when hopefully the problem will be resolved. A-GPS may not cost much per locking but it adds up. Furthermore if you travel outside Malaysia you will encounter more problems because you need to buy a local phone card in order to use A-GPS and setting up your phone to connect to the positioning server can be a nuisance with a prepaid card depending on the moble phone service provider

go to garmin, look for the option "launch background service", enable it and disable it...this should solve the problem...

Just received housing bought from one of the forummer here for rm18 and honestly i don't recommend him at all.. the front fascia is full of scratches and the back cover has some plastic peeling near the camera frame.. this not AA Grade.. this is LOW GRADE.. really disappointing.. wasted my money.. sighh.. ow well..

should just get the original cover from NCC? i wonder how much it costs.

fixed my gps problem by restarting the phone wasted my time reinstalling everything

well original really expensive worr coz i wanna drill the camera plastic lens cover.. sayang la buy original for that.. mmm nevermind.. lesson learned.. lol.. should have just buy the rm60 one at the shop.. sigh..

oh hye there...

my bf is using 5800XM the 1st batch....

then few days ago..his phone have no battery, so he went home charged it..then he on the phone..but there wrote "Cannot Detect Memory Card"....but he tried on the video files, song files all also can...

but then cos the sign of "Cannot Detect Memory Card" was there...so he eject his memory card and put it in again..but this time no notification saying "cannot detect memory card" but instead he lost all his sms & mms in his inbox...

besides that his phone is functioning well..

Well.. just cleared up things with him.. turns out there is a thin plastic layer that covers the screen so the scracthes were all on the layer.. but still there are dents and scratches on the black frame around the fascia.. ow well i think cant really blame him.. just make sure u ask him to check first with the item before post to u laa..

there are original class 2 mmc as well
and class 2 mmc is well known to have incompatibility problem with 5800

i have some problem with my tubey
last week my friend using my phone and browse the internet using wi fi
then after he return to me back..i smell something like burning-like electronic part burn(donno wat to kol,but smell burn for electronic part)
my phone also feels a lil bit hot
i check everything is ok....then i switch i off
when turn it back..suddenly the screen turn to dark slowly..not like usual..if we switch it off..it will go black.this one it will turn to black slowly in some part than off..then it will restart again..and..suddenly is ok..
this problem will happen..if i switch it off.
so may i know..what's the prob..
for ur info..it just only fell down once..but nothing bad happen,
my firmware is the latest one..
so..what shud i do..if go to NCC..how long it will takes

check if it is a Class 2 card. if it is, try to bring back to NCC for warranty (valid for 3 months from date of purchase). but some forummers said that some NCCs refused to change the card, and just provide reformatting service. see luck as well-la
