i just took the key to my first property.
thinking to rent it out. i have a lot of question in my head now....

1) an empty house, whats the most profitable or efficient way to rent it out?
2) do i need to intsall kicthen sink, cabinet, install aircon,lighting for the renter?
3) how we calculate the how much to charge for the utility deposit?
4) what else i should set or know before rent it out, and make good profit?

is it advisable to put tiles in car porch, install cabinet to increase value of the property?

1) Advertise online
2) I believe you need to have at least a decent setup of the kitchen in place. I would not want to rent the house without those necessities.
3) Take at least 1 month in advance. That should be good enough. I would take at least RM50.
4) Know what your renter is working as. You don't want people that might use your house for illegal activities.
