i bought a mg zeta plus a1 the other day, thinking it's about time i should build one myself. after seeing all the pics posted, it kinda puts me off knowing that i don't have all the tools that would make the kit look good. all i have is a borrowed toolkit (cutter, knife, etc), and a used gundam marker. i have a fg gundam which i assembled quite some time ago, it looked pretty awful... that's why i bought the mg, thinking it would look good just like in the pic =.="
now that i know that there are quite a no. of tools involved, can someone actually list out the price (and where to get em) for the things you've used when modelling your kit?

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Feb 8 2010, 03:47 AM) Depends on how much skill you have, and how much effort you want to put it. For a straight assembly, a decent hobby knife, sandpaper, gundam panel line marker + eraser will suffice. Gundam markers are for touching up the details but you're better off using a thin brush+paint for that purpose. http://gunpla-inochi.com/tools/Read on regarding tools for basic modelling. Advanced skills can be found in hobby magazines and also places like Zero G forum and our own modelling technique thread that's lying somewhere in the forum basically i have zero skills in modelling... i think i'll get another fg to test it out first... can i know where you guys get your airbrush, compressor, epoxy putties, coats, etc and how much do they cost?
