QUOTE(Parody @ Oct 27 2009, 09:19 PM)
Of course it's a fair comparison, because comparitively, the pre-Beecraft-ed HG 1/144 or NG 1/100 are more accurate to the lineart.
If we do get an MG Kshatriye, surely you'd see a skinnier and more edgy robot. Comparing to the current HGUC version, the green mech's fanboys would stand up and boycott it for the looks, and maybe even for the price.

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Oct 28 2009, 04:10 AM)
I believe the changes are much more subtle compared to the Blue Frame, and most people are more comfortable with the green monster and hence less complaints. But of course as with any other gunplas, one's own preference is the main reason why one purchases it - other people's opinions are merely for reference and seem less important.
*

That is what Parody is talking about. The changes for Ksha is subtle because it's not from the MG line. nod.gif If it was, the changes would be very noticeable, most probably a slimmed down version. And we'll get negative feedbacks for MG Ksha like what people say about MG Blue Frame. yawn.gif

seriously, if they include the long spear which only GN-X III have..
i would really buy GN-X..
but since this is only GN-X,
i just don't think they'll include it..
*

if this one sells, you think they ain't gonna make a GN-XIII? sweat.gif

Haha not all actually tongue.gif Though Bandai kits are generally much easier to assemble compared to model kits from other manufacturers, the difficulty varies depending on grades, and series to to a certain extent.
*

It still boils down to the whole assembly process. Whatever grade it is, it's still purely snapfitting. That's what Parody is trying to say. The way you build a Master Grade is the exactly the same as the way you would build a Non Grade, albeit the longer period it takes to complete.

QUOTE(golbeza @ Dec 8 2009, 01:07 PM)
take Armored Core from Kotobukiya for examples, the details of its outcome is really satisfying, and also equal to assembling it, Kotobukiya kits needs more patience compared to Bandai kits  brows.gif
*

As for Koto's kits, they require cement or hobby glue and it's not purely snapfitting. That's what makes a Koto kit more advanced than a Bandai kit. The 'microscopic' parts of a Koto kit makes it even harder.

Who said Koto kits need cement or hobby glue?
*

Well, for starters, i said so.

Secondly, Golbeza said so.
QUOTE(golbeza @ Dec 8 2009, 01:45 PM)
lol srsly, some AC kits do need gluing, take Aaliyah Krasnaya for example, the antenna is really not in place as it falls off easily and gluing is necessary especially for the back Stabilizers otherwise it wont be in place at all  tongue.gif
*

Thirdly, the Kotobukiya kit's manuals say so.

What kind of modeller builds kits without first looking at the instruction manual?! doh.gif

But of course, people have the freedom to wear loose pants without belts. It's not a necessary. It's just recommended. rolleyes.gif

wow. so big ar the mega size. i remember back then, there are RX-78-2 jumbo size. but to think back, it is not a gunpla is it? just something like very big toys. can anyone confirm this fact? i think i look an its advertisment back on around 4~5 yrs b4.

it maybe at the same size with this mega size?
*

Jumbo size is 1/35 ~ 50cm. PVC action figure.

Mega size is 1/48 ~ 37.5cm. Plastic model kit.

QUOTE(moyong @ Feb 11 2010, 04:45 PM)
thanks for the fast reply.

well i thought of painting the red parts only because the gold plated parts are already nice lolz just that the red parts look plasticy so as a newbie i thought of asking around first ^^.

also is it advisable to mark the gold plated parts with marker or just leave it as it is?
*

You could try using Matte Topcoat on the red parts if you want to lose the plastic shine. Don't apply it on the gold parts though.
Better leave the gold parts as it is because paint from markers/bottles might 'eat' through the plating.

Cool is cool but that circle hole on 00 Gundam and the corresponding peg on the 0 Raiser won't last long like that rolleyes.gif
