then again, when i really studied Dalong's MG Exia, it seems tat OO Raiser will most probably get MG-fied, based on its PG design. and btw, is MG Exia IM really worth getting it? since its just includes the shiny metal parts & the Repair parts for extra RM50? i dun think so  sweat.gif
oops, forgot that there is an MG Exia tongue.gif

MG Exia IM is really worth it for a few reasons:
1. the light up GN drive
2. the shiny blades looks great

those two are enough to me smile.gif

Peeps, need your views and opinion on something; will Bandai come up with MG kits for the 1st season Gundam 00 MS: Dynames, Kyrios & Virtue (Nadleeh)? I'm kind of hesitant to get the NG 1/100 versions out there since the MG Exia is well above the NG 1/100 Exia.. MGs are always cool wink.gif

Thanks for the input bro smile.gif have to check wallet first, the only thing that frustrate me about the NG 1/100 is the hands; no finger articulations and have to split them open to insert gun handles sad.gif and Virtue's leg panels is one giant block that needs panel-lining to look decent.. sigh, i complain too much haha biggrin.gif

i still have some kits unbuilt:
- 1/100 Tallgeese III
- HGUC Nu-Gundam
- MG RX-78-2 Ver Ka
- MG Strike Freedom
- MG Destiny

think that can fill my time up as i wait for some MG news smile.gif

An MG D-Hell Custom wouldn't be so bad either  brows.gif
*
*sigh* MG Tallgeese III.. it's a great design, and the old kit doesn't do it justice (what with the limited articulations and all). Was Wing Zero Custom the ONLY MG kit from the Gundam Wing series?

i do not own a sinanju yet but have seen my friend's, all i can say is tat sinanju's plastic quality is already awsm and satisfying even if its oob, it aint the same quality as old MGs, like Gato's Gelgoog & Gouf v1.0  wink.gif
*
Thanks golbeza for the input thumbup.gif of the kits ive assembled, MG Kampfer has very brittle blue plastics, HGUC Sazabi red plastics are ok but can feel that it is not as good as the normal white/grey plastics of other HG or MG kits.. glad to know Sinanju's is at good quality smile.gif

still prefer the 3rd generation CB Gundams and the Thrones with their very nice chest GN drives placement; the 4th gen CB Gundams have their GN drives in awkward places (Arios' at the crotch and Cherudim's at the bu*t), and these Movie Gundams look bulkier shakehead.gif

..hence Gundam Exia tongue.gif no backpack, no environmentally-damaging exhaust emission, super uber cool GN swords, slim and fast smile.gif

Hi guys, I am planning to start assemble a gundam model. But I am unsure whether is it hard to assemble it. Any advice for me to lookout for and tips or what is easier to build as I am a newbie. I am afraid that I might have bought the wrong ones or something. Anyway, I am quite interested in Throne Zwei and Masurao. Are they they hard to assemble or are they even available? Thanks.  notworthy.gif
*
I started out with MG kits and those were fun. Although they can be time consuming and a sore to the fingers, haha biggrin.gif but whatever do, don't start with MG Kampfer, or even MG Sinanju; both have sharp edges and Kampfer especially have a rather brittle material for the blue parts sad.gif wil be VERY frustrating for beginners..

HGUC Nu-Gundam is a nice kit to start with, IMO.. and yes, the MG Exia as well smile.gif

I see thanks for your advice. =)
Thanks for the tips. What's the difference between HG and MG? Other than the price lol.
I see thank you. =)
Yea... I don't want to start with a model that breaks easily. haha... thanks for your advice.
LOL Unfortunately I don't have a fat wallet.

Another thing, which one is better zwei, masurao or exia or any other suggestion? smile.gif
*
00 fan smile.gif this is just me but i think the 1/144 Throne Gundams don't have that much details out of the box, unless you want to panel line them.. for a good looking kit that looks nice without touchup, i recommend MG Exia (get the Ignition Mode version if you like the light up GN drive LED gimmick).. so far from 00, only MG Exia is available as an MG kit; the GN-X is for next year..

i know it's going tobe a looonnnng wait, but i'd wait for MG versions of the Thrones smile.gif

HHAHAHAHA, you got me there biggrin.gif

if there's a number one spot for most anticipated MG from Gundam 00, it'd be MG 00 Gundam (or the 00 Raiser) .. sigh...

This may appear to be a n00b question, but does the MG GN-X comes with LED-lighted false GN Drive? from most of the pictures it doesn't seem so; but a few pre-order pages from online shops advertised that the GN drive can light up hmm.gif

which is it now? smile.gif

hmm, this matter has been quite a debate in many forums. But i've never seen the GN Drive lighted up, not until the Hobby Japan March issue features it, tat's the first time i see it lighted up.

who knows? mebbe got special edition of the MG GN-X, got Led Light featured in it, lol  whistling.gif
*
thanks bro for the info smile.gif i guess i'll wait out for some GN-X Ignition Mode, or something tongue.gif

though since the GN-XIII shares the same basic frame, might as well wait for that wink.gif

Update: i guess it's not light up sad.gif check out the assembly guide scan for the GN drive part..

lucky me no feel to MG exia after i bought 1/100 NG sweat.gif

have to have one Exia or another smile.gif i feel that an MG Exia is worth getting.. some may argue that the extra price for the Ignition Mode is not worth it, but personally for me, if don't have an Exia at 1/100 scale, get the MG Ignition Mode (the light up GN drive and etched wordings on the clear green parts are such beauty) smile.gif

regarding MG GN-X; must Bandai make every add-on available only in Japan? doh.gif how to purchase the light up GN drive if cannot fill in a form that is in Japanese sweat.gif
