Hi guys, I am planning to start assemble a gundam model. But I am unsure whether is it hard to assemble it. Any advice for me to lookout for and tips or what is easier to build as I am a newbie. I am afraid that I might have bought the wrong ones or something. Anyway, I am quite interested in Throne Zwei and Masurao. Are they they hard to assemble or are they even available? Thanks.

QUOTE(wuwah @ Dec 24 2009, 12:02 PM) welcome2 I see thanks for your advice. =)Throne Zwei available, but Masurao still not available i think its better stsrt with HG, then u can try MG. its awesome QUOTE(golbeza @ Dec 24 2009, 12:13 PM) last time i checked Throne Zwei, it was RM40, Masurao is already available at AF Hobby for RM59, check it out Thanks for the tips. What's the difference between HG and MG? Other than the price lol.i bet ur a OO fan, why not try the Master Grade Exia? QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Dec 24 2009, 12:33 PM) It's same wan assemble MG or HG. Everyone here will give u different advise. I see thank you. =)As long as u follow manual and cut the nips nicely, your model kit will look nice and great =) QUOTE(evanrue @ Dec 24 2009, 12:51 PM) I started out with MG kits and those were fun. Although they can be time consuming and a sore to the fingers, haha Yea... I don't want to start with a model that breaks easily. haha... thanks for your advice.HGUC Nu-Gundam is a nice kit to start with, IMO.. and yes, the MG Exia as well QUOTE(gaiachronicler @ Dec 24 2009, 01:09 PM) so if you are scared of destroying your 1st gundam get a HG, but if you have a fat wallet. well you can buy whichever you like LOL Unfortunately I don't have a fat wallet.Another thing, which one is better zwei, masurao or exia or any other suggestion? QUOTE(Parody @ Dec 27 2009, 12:16 AM) Whoa... from HG Throne Zwei or HG Masurao to MG Sinanju or MG Sazabi... Didn't like Zwei or Masurao after looking at the reviews in youtube cos both looks weird to me it's like they are too skinny and will snap at any moment. Then I saw Saz and Sin and both looks cool. Yes, MG Sinanju is a better kit than MG Sazabi although i wouldn't suggest it for a first timer like you. Added on December 27, 2009, 12:35 am QUOTE(golbeza @ Dec 27 2009, 12:27 AM) yes, indeed the MG Sazabi is lousy and kenot pose much. and the Sinanju definitely pwns the Sazabi in every way. but if u really do wan a Sazabi, i'd suggest the HG version of it. cuz its articulationwise is waaaay better than its predecessor's MG. Lolz.... ahaha went to a shop today cos wanted to look at the HG version of Saz but it's already sold out. Will got to more shops to hunt around. well, nobody could stop anyone from getting his first MG This post has been edited by Guenhwyvar: Dec 27 2009, 12:35 AM |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 27 2009, 08:01 PM) Get both I see thanks for the tips. Currently I'll be still hunting around because I am not in a rush. SIEG ZEON ! RM310 is a bit expensive for either, but if it's the best (by best it also includes convenience) price then why not? Personally, if you are going to spend that amount of money on an MG you might as well go for the Sinanju. It's much newer and better in terms of articulation and material quality, plus it has more intricate details. Oh, it's also a paintjob nightmare too but if you're going to spend money on it there's no reason not to spend time making it beautiful. No rush at all. Sazabi... HGUC is good enough. Similar, if not better articulations compared to the MG version; but much cheaper. Due to its bulk it doesn't look out of place beside your typical 1/100 scaled gunpla either.
