hmm i been wondering why for all the mechanisim for docking they come out this lousy method. Look at the rx-78 v2.0 and force impulse docking system is way better than this one..

yup i agree with you on this one because i also will buy it. for me articulation are not really important than the finishing look. and also i prefer the static hand it look way cooler than the articulated one. ( i got bad experience with it ever since i build sinanju). Doesn't mean lot of feature and articulation are good for model kits.

actually not all UC gundam are Fat legs, useless ankle joints. just don't make those statement like that out of a blue. you take sinanju for example it also from UC era. MyKy44 was correct on this one.

QUOTE(naith @ Oct 29 2009, 12:38 PM) In Japan you could do that. But for here, it would probably be cheaper to buy the full set. Out of curiosity, which kit is your broken wing from? QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Oct 29 2009, 12:44 PM) QUOTE(300078 @ Oct 29 2009, 01:03 PM) like mkky said u can order certain runner frm HLJ but the price is really expensive... and if ur parts are in multiple runner then u have to paid more than just buying the kit alone. So another choice is to buy those Pirated version gundam kits loh. QUOTE(Parody @ Oct 29 2009, 01:27 PM) Yes my gundam freedom the head on top got the V shape thing rite.. on the kepala... that 1 hilang liao... now not nice... where to buy ah? just tat small pieceOn top of what the others have said, there's nothing a bit of super glue, a bit of putty and a bit of time, can't fix |

QUOTE(golbeza @ Nov 3 2009, 10:10 PM) nah, V gundam wont get any flashy decals, most probably just some usual Ver Ka Decals, unless got some 3rd party special decals specially for the V Gundam, but totally, i'll rather wait for the next V gundam variations, look at wat they've done to MG Crossbone Gundam Ver Ka... most likely tons of "warning" decals, a League Militiare logo for the shoulder... maybe one or two numbers and that's it.QUOTE(Parody @ Nov 3 2009, 11:10 PM) Actually the original lineart's legs are even fatter. It's expected that the ankles can't sway from side to side due to side armour and transforming mechanism. The Zeta's ankles suffers the same problem. Oh well, it needs an action base perhaps. QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Nov 4 2009, 12:00 AM) anyway, the docking mechanism is very complex for V. I guess that explains the sacrifice of articulation to compensate for the transformation and wat not I suppose they had to sacrifice the waist for the docking mechanism, but there's no reason not to include a fully-functioning palm since the F91 and Crossbone both had tiny articulated palms.QUOTE(kkloveit @ Nov 4 2009, 12:21 AM) The only decend looking strike freedom is the MG strike freedom...i find other grades are a total eyesore. The porpotions are all out. Coz that time no one knew when an MG SF would be released. NG and HG SF are really cacat... fat face, fat legs, totally wrong. |

Look at the rx-78 v2.0 and force impulse docking system is way better than this one.. maybe it follow the original design of the gundam where the whole upper body is the plane not like RX78 or Impulse where the core fighter is a smaller a part. |

I dont think they sell parts seperately.......One other alternatives you can use is buy a FAKE freedom, and take the V fin for your original freedom....and the rest of the fake part you will find it handy when modding your models^^. The TT hongli Strike freedom cost about rm 60. -MYky44 Ya i know he is talking about the V gundam....I feel that i wan to say about strike freedom...tats all ^^ This post has been edited by kkloveit: Nov 4 2009, 09:57 AM |

Some Gundam kits like MG God Gundam come with extra yellow V-fins for the head, 1 which is hard plastic and the other is rubber. Perhaps you could ask around and see if anyone's willing to sell it? Some slight modifications is needed to fit into Strike Freedom though... Well, comparing the lineart and the kit itself, the legs didn't get any thinner » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Nov 4 2009, 04:15 AM) I suppose they had to sacrifice the waist for the docking mechanism, but there's no reason not to include a fully-functioning palm since the F91 and Crossbone both had tiny articulated palms. What the others are saying is that there's nothing wrong if there are no fully-functioning hands. Hand swapping like HGUC actually makes this petite MG hold its weapons better. All the Gundams with small hands (F91, Xbone, Turn A) have difficulty holding weapons anyway... QUOTE(unpronunceable @ Nov 4 2009, 03:41 PM) that reminds me. Most probably this is your problem. The part has worn out due to wear and tear. You could try dissasembling it and reassemble back if it's not that worn out. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
