If you're charming (attitude), then fat or not it's not a problem.
Make sure you smell nice, looks clean and dress up nicely.

Whether you able to slim down or not, that's entirely up to you to decide.
I got a friend which has a model-like gf, even though he's fat, he got all the
points mentioned above. Meaning he's a pleasant friend to have around.
