Is it possible to format my friend's HTC touch to windows mobile 6.0 english version? Currently, using the chinese version which is a bit troublesome.

If its too dificult, you can PM baronic (Staff), he does this ROM reformating stuff at a reasonble rate

i do it for free if i got time. but time is what i dont have. working d lol. but its easy, just check it up on XDA developer forum, and any questions u can ask here.

basically Hard-spl, and flash rom.

important to take note tho that for HTC touch its a bit tricky cuz there's two different versions, with different ram. make sure u got the right version.

go out to shops(capable of doing so), could cost about rm20-50
if its still under warranty, shops like PDA-expert give free service.

normally shops out ther dun provide such service ady

If u flash HTC Elf or Elfin (touch) to 6.0 only, it means just update, PDA expert can do it for you...but if you want more advance like 6.5, better go to xda-developer there...

Just want to ask, is it possible if the TS go to HTC official site and download official WM 6.0 WWE ROM from there and flash to his friend PDA.

if its available why not?

if originally taiwan set then you wont be able to download English ROM. but you still can flash to English ROM if you have the ROM.

don't u have the format cd...???
