 Problem using BenQ G920HD LCD monitor with xbox., blank screen, no image at all

hi,
i hope to get some help from u guys,maybe some of u guyz experience this b4. biggrin.gif

i just bought benq G920HD to use it with my xbox,
unfortunately when i assemble it with my xbox using dvi connection,and when i turn on my xbox, there is no display come out. cry.gif
only blank screen but the green lcd power is already on and the first splash image of lcd benq start up is ok.only no xbox screen come out.

and i did tried that BenQ lcd monitor with my cpu using vga connection and it is ok.no problem at all.

my previous hp lcd doesnt have this kind of problem b4. only plug n straight away can play.

any views or idea are really appreciated. thumbup.gif

previous is using dvi too on hp lcd.

but ever since my hp lcd rosak, i connect it to my lcd tv using hdmi.
is that a possible problem?
means i need to connect it back to hp lcd using dvi then connect it back to benQ lcd? maybe it will works?

why not just connect the xbox to your monitor thru hdmi?

You may need to reset your XBox resolution to something your new monitor can display

my monitor doesnt have hdmi, only have vga and dvi port.

the reset xbox resolutions really a keyword, once i google it, theres a lot out there who also has the same problem with me. i will try the method and let u guys know the outcome. thanks. notworthy.gif

gud luck bro... i thought it will be prob like that for ps3 onli, dunno xbox also got like this...

if no hdmi on ur monitor, u can use hdmi to dvi.. but make sure ur monitor is support hdcp..

ok bro, thanks! problem solved.

i used 1080 setting at my lcd tv so thats y its not detectable at my benq lcd monitor as my monitor only support up to 720. i changed it to 720 and now its ok already.
