If not after lossless audio, Pioneer has a quite attractive entry level HT package which consists of an AVR + 5.1 speaker set and cost only around RM2500 over here in KK Sabah. Price should be cheaper over there in West M'sia. By the way, the package model is "HTP-800SW".
