Guys, would like to ask you guys before I write a complaint letter to Sony.

My Sony PSP power adapter seems to fail me many times. The power adapter would be very very hot and would not be charging, straight away faulty just like that. Within 1 year, I need to change around 4 power adapter? All is original as I bought the power adapter parts from Sony Center.

Is this common? May I know what's wrong?

up to 4 adapters going wrong seems odd, hv u recheck maybe ur power point/socket/plug maybe faulty? or ur psp makes ur charger hot? cause all 4 going on bad just seems odd.

At first I thought it is Singapore issue, as Singapore voltage is higher compare to Malaysia. So most of the electrical power adapter would be spoilt easily. This is what my engineer told me.

But I lend my psp to my friend in malaysia, he told me the power adapter spoilt. So, now I am thinking of my PSP issue?

Any idea? My psp make my charger hot? I have no idea how this could happen.... LoL

are u using ori battery or 3rd party one..
some sellers swap the battery to fake one even u buy a new psp..
so they can sell the ori battery for higher price

try change the battery and see if it's still the same.. smile.gif

Battery I guess original. I do not have the PSP with me now, it is with my friend.
Don't think it is 3rd party, and I know the seller(ex-colleague, last time I work there) and I saw the box is new stock which just came in.

Don't understand.
Sorry. There is typo error, it is original battery

Even though I change battery, I need to wait for few months to see the power adapter is still working fine a not. My power adapter is not really that bad that next day will KO. laugh.gif
