AHH. Both.
I wanna be a vet. I love animals. I wanna help to ease their pain. I wanna make their owner feel relieved and gain trust from them. (experienced insecure feeling with my previous cat before)

BUT my parents want me to be a doctor. AND; mom has been telling me that I should be a doctor since i'm in kindergarten. Well, I don't mind being one as i wish to relieve pains in people and let their family feel less worried about the patient.

I'm so stuck man T___T.

both doc and vet takes up 5-6 years of studies.

however; vet is like.. doctor+dentist+surgeon. Doctors cannot perform surgeries unless titled as surgeon which takes up more years of studies.

Doctors can be easily employed and has a fairly good salary. There's not much people hiring vets... unless I have to open my own clinic. Even if I'm hired; the salary wouldn't be too good.
I don't really mind about the salary but when I work, I will be the one handing my family financial problem.. dad is going to retire. T__T

The pro and cons is about the same. My mom is really angry at me when I said I wanna be a vet. and my dad was like 'i prefer you to take medicine." So obvious that he wants me to be a doctor. he even said that "You should take medicine first since you are capable. If you think you can't take it then only u change to vet lor."
=_= isn't that too late already?

Oh yeah, if i wish to enter a uni on 2011 do i have to apply now? ugh; I'm very blur in this. HAHAHA.

if they are both overseas... it's pretty impossible..

My cat stay;sleep; and play indoors EVERYDAYYYY leh

check which uni offers the course as partime lorh. If it needs alot of practical experiences it might be tough.
