as for line i much prefer TT eventhough they share same line with celcom..
anyhow at least i dont have to spend RM38 just to stay active 1 year.
my current celcom plan no expire until 2024 even if no reload. brows.gif

hahaha got nice numbers meh?

dun mean to bump this thread but i'm on TT and i'm looking at the 88sen daily 50mb plan ...

tried to live chat with csrep on TT website but the thing dun work.

does anyone know how this plan actually works?

one blog said that if u use it non-stop for 30days, u'd pay 26.40 for 1.5gb and that is a good deal ...

i'm attracted to it because i dun need it everyday ... so it's pretty much pay-as-i-need-to-use-it ... only on certain days of the week when i'm on the road

is there a catch?

AFAIK only 2G but if just checking mail and non-urgent data, slower so what, it's really cheap!

In actual use, during a long session it can cut on and off repeatedly, each time a new charge, so after 30 days it may not be the minimum calculation you estimated.

You can do the same with U-Mobile 3G for 5 sen/MB, leave on all day, with careful setting of apps. Sometimes it will drop back to celcom 2G or drop out come on again (with another 5 sen charge).

Hmm.... could be Skype only runs video on the faster connection speeds. I can't remember whether I used Skype voice and it if worked when I had Tunetalk. OK on U-Mo. Can you watch streaming video using TT?

Seems like not many Tunetalk users?
If one just want to make calls, Tunetalk is the cheapest at 16 cents a min to any operator. How is their network coverage? Is it as good as Celcom?

tune talk says 5sen per mb or per SESSION. what it means by per session, is it mean if i on and off gprs every 5 seconds then in one minute i will be charge 12 sessions? (12 x 5sen = 60 sen/min)

any time limit to finish the 5sen/mb session?

hope this help...

How will I be charged for using Data/Internet?

You will be charged a minimum of RM0.05 per MB. Multiple sessions will be charged RM0.05 per session notwithstanding that each session may not reach or exceed 1MB.

Example 1: - If you download 1MB of data, you will be charged RM0.05 or if you download 1.5MB, you will be charged RM0.10.

Example 2: - If you download 1MB of data, but it was done in 3 sessions, you will be charged RM0.15.

Bro, thanks for reply but my question is direct inquiry after reading above. Does it mean that if signal drop every 5 seconds, i will be charged 60 sens per minute?

even if signal did not drop, can i take the whole day to finish the 1mb and only charged 5sens? really no time limit?

anyone have experience of being charged unreasonably for 5sen/1mb bcause session always restart?
