QUOTE(cardin @ Oct 1 2009, 10:28 AM) talking about wireless broadband? here u go -->
as for celcom yr area covered by HSDPA (desa baiduri) n UMTS for alam damai...for me it is recommended to use d68 instead of d98 bcoz in alam damai HSDPA signal is juz so so not fully covered (u may experience unstable HSDPA signal if u use d98)
What are the differences between HSDPA and UMTS? I am wondering Maxis's coverage will be better or Celcom?

QUOTE(cardin @ Oct 1 2009, 02:31 PM) da difren is da speed...UMTS is up to 384kbps while HSDPA for celcom n maxis can be as fast as 3.6Mbps while digi 14.4Mbps... in terms of coverage i would say celcom is da best...covering up to 70% of populated area...while maxis still expanding the coverage in major cities n towns... OoO.. I am on HSDPA now and I am using D68/daily prepaid.... in such case, I can get up to 3.6Mbps or limited to 384kbps nia?

My friend is having frequent disconnection within few minutes when he is on 3G mode but no disconnection when in GPRS.
Anyone encountered this?

Last week was on Melaka and Langkawi but there were no 3G coverage in Melaka n Langkawi on DiGi and Maxis.
I wonder if Celcom has?
Maxis has 3G in langkawi but the line was weak.
