Hi all. Just wanted to ask in the event that you oversold the number of shares that you have, what is the procedures that have to be done? Take example you have one lot but you sold 2. Thanks!

If you only realize the short position after trading hour then it goes without saying that there's no way for you to cover ( buy back ) .... as a result KLSE will penalize you by way of buying-in.

UNLESS you can make immediate transfer of that particular share : the latest before 12pm on T + 2, and that too is ONLY possible :

* for immediate families member ( i.e husband-wife, father-daughter, brother-brother etc )
* you need to show document proof of your relationship ( i.e marriage cert, birth cert etc )
